Currently, there is no vehicle for our police officers to use to patrol their zone. These officers are responsible for an area that extends from Rancho Cafe to Altos Pacora and includes another 75 kilometers of roads in Los Altos de Cerro Azul. At this moment officers conduct themselves with pride by patrolling on foot where they can. It is impossible for them to “protect and serve” our families in such a large area without reliable transportation. With this petition we formally ask a suitable vehicle (preferably a 4x4) be permanently assigned to our zone and maintained for the Cerro Azul Sub­Station.
