Wounding Southport

Police are investigating after a man was wounded at a residence at Southport overnight.

Around 6.30pm police were called after two men, who were known to each other, were involved in a disturbance in the driveway of a Queen Street house.

During the incident a 46-year-old man sustained a laceration to his neck and wrist.

He was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are working to locate the man involved.

Investigations are continuing.
