Following the expo, dinner will be held on site. This event will allow funeral directors and expo attendees to speak with exhibitors in an informal atmosphere.

This year's Funeral Directors' Association of NSW (FDA) Conference & AGM is being held in conjunction with the 2014 Australian Funeral Expo. Attendees registered with the FDA to attend the FDA Conference will receive free entry to the expo as well as tickets for the Saturday evening dinner event.

How do I get to the expo?
The Sydney Olympic Park precinct is centrally located within the Sydney metropolitan area and has parking available on site. Olympic Park train station is adjacent to the expo site and regular services link Sydney Olympic Park with the rest of Sydney's CityRail network. Numerous bus, ferry and taxi services frequent the area and further information can be found on the Sydney Showground website. What hotels are nearby?

Is there food and beverage service available on-site?
A cafe and bar area is situated on site and will be open throughout the day of the expo serving food and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. For those who choose to attend the dinner function in the evening, food and drinks are included in the ticket price.
What should I wear to the expo and dinner?
Both the expo and the dinner are "casual" events. Attendees should wear comfortable clothing and footwear.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
There is no minimum age requirement to enter the expo but identification may be required if you lose your ticket or to prove your identity and entitlement if you win a raffle or competition at the expo. Proof of age may be required if you wish to consume alcohol at the expo (available on site) and/or during the evening dinner meal (alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are included with the purchase of a dinner ticket).
Do I need to be at the expo to enter the draw for the $5,000 Flight Centre Gift Card?
Yes, you must have attended the expo and had your entry ticket processed in order to be in the draw for the $5,000 Flight Centre Gift Card. The draw will take place after the expo during the dinner function and whilst you don't need to be present to claim the prize, if you have booked and paid for a dinner ticket and you are the lucky winner and are present to claim your prize, then you'll also receive a $500 VISA Pre-Paid Debit Card for spending money on your holiday.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes, you'll need to bring your ticket to the expo. You either print your ticket or keep the email we send you with your ticket details and use the QR code on your smart phone instead of a printed ticket. If you misplace your ticket, please contact the Australian Funeral Expo office as soon as possible and we'll arrange for a replacement to be issued.
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes, you can transfer your ticket into someone else's name. Simply contact the Australian Funeral Expo office with the details and we'll be happy to reissue the ticket in the correct name.
What is the refund policy?
If you find you can't make it to the expo dinner after booking your ticket, please let us know so we can cancel or transfer it. If you've paid for a dinner ticket and can no longer attend, we'll be happy to refund the purchase price back to you as long as you advise us prior to 24 September 2014.
