Kardashian castoff Scott Disick got into a jealousy-fueled fight with girlfriend Sofia Richie over her ex, Lewis Hamilton, as they watched the Formula One star battle in a high-stakes $100K game of pool.
Kourtney Kardashian’s ex Disick spun out at a New Year’s Eve party in Aspen, Colo., where millionaire racer Hamilton was playing a $100,000 winner-takes-all billiards game with “Greasy Bear” oil heir Brandon Davis. (Another source tells us the bet was a joke.)
Even though racing champ-turned-toddler fashion critic Hamilton has been in the pits of criticism following his Snapchat post shaming his young nephew for wearing a princess dress, Disick lost his grip when he saw Sofia chatting with the disparaged driver and insisted they make an immediate exit. (Lewis has since apologized for the Snapchat incident.)
A source said that Disick and his crew had been “party hopping” over NYE and inadvertently swerved by, not realizing that Lewis would be there. “Sofia started talking to Lewis during the [pool] game,” says the source. “When Scott saw them talking, he went ballistic, crazy. He was very jealous. He insisted they leave the party immediately.”
A lawyer for Hamilton told us, “Although Mr. Hamilton was in Aspen for the holiday, there was no jealousy, no fight, and no issue; rather, as Ms. Richie has herself confirmed, there was a perfectly friendly, polite exchange and any claim to the contrary is simply false.”
Disick and Sofia first appeared in public together as a couple in Miami in early December, but prior to that Hamilton had taken lead car, dating Sofia from around January to May.
But this isn’t the first time the charming new couple has got into an unpleasant public pile-up.
At a party during Art Basel Miami Beach in early December, they were “arguing and definitely in a fight,” a source told Page Six at the time. “He grabbed her neck to try and kiss her, and she wasn’t having it.”
