I'm on the fence about Katie. That "whirlwind romance" wherein she left her fiance of three years, disappeared for weeks, then re-emerged to announce her wedding to Tom Cruise. Then, five years later, we see promising actor and former Holmes fiancee Chris Klein come out of hiding shortly after the Holmes-Cruise divorce. That's some super shady business there.

Katie Holmes has never been referred to as a princess, nor does she have A+ name recognition. She also had a more successful career on television than movies. And according to earlier posts, she just moved to California to be with Jamie Foxx. The princess label could refer to a movie title, perhaps its Anne Hathaway or Robin Wright Penn. It's not Katie Holmes

I was thinking goop for the actress, just because I can't believe she would uncouple unless she had someone she wanted to be with. Also because enties would give her a b for rating regardless of her Oscar win. The princess piece needs no explaining ;-)
I don't think Katie really cares about her public "image". If she did, she could certainly have milked her divorce from Cruise and turned it into a "woe is me" thing. So if she is revealed to be a homewrecker, I doubt she cares what the public thinks.
Basil.. Katie Holmes did play the woe is me card. She just had her people leek stuff to the tabloids about controlling and horrible Tom and crazy scio..
Katie can not talk herself for fear of retribution and a nondisclosure agreement. But her people can.. and she did play the just a single mom card.
@Sugar Maybe, and it wouldn't surprise me, but knowing CO$ and their underhanded methods of dealing with people they don't like, and WANT to hurt, can you blame her? And any leaks "her people" have made are no way on par with Diana's Panorama interview where she gave her most famous quote "There were 3 of us in the marriage." So Katie has gone waaaaay to easy on both Tom and Miscavige and CO$.
