Well hope it will useful and someone will improve&share my chassis. Great design. I'm going to download it and make a full tank out of it. How did you get the hinges to lime up so nice? I cant seem to master that yet.

Thats VERY clever! I love how you dealt with the issue of slack in the tracks! How you expanded the wheels. Veryyy cool! Welcome to the forums by the way

I have used wheels for 1/2 block shift. Unpowered (or powered) wheel is only half block, so you can place the wheel (only one wheel), attach some blocks with 1/2 shift and remove useless wheel after. Little bit difficult first time, but very useful feature. There, not for hinges, but totally identical: And for hinges, another man guide:

I was thinking about a tank with tracks, but didn't know how make them :/ Once again need is the mother of invention. Really nice design. GJ!

Welcome to the forums by the way To second this, to me you developed the best tracks on the forums and delivered the perfect solution for mine restant vehicles. I'm looking forward to more well thought out creations by you.

Hi all. Just another mine resistant chassis. Unfortunately 400+ blocks are already slow down my pc, and I've prefer avoid time dilation. So it will just concept fork, without further progress. For now. The main feature is greatly reinforced wheel mounts. The second is additional support for tracks. Think it will be useful for another chassis. Enjoy. The controls are similar: k button for start (extend pistons) numpad: 7 for left track forward 4 for left track backward 9 for right track forward 6 for right track backward bombproof_fork1.bsg (46.01 KB)

Btw any game client optimisation advises? Seems Shadows/FXAA options have almost no effect for framerate. It's so sad forget some machines by reason of lags and freezes.
