Okay, so you’re a brand new IPL Team. What’s the first thing you do? Think of a name. If you’re from Chennai, anything pre-fixed with ‘super’ will work. Delhi wanted a double D, and went with Daredevils. Mumbai, being the land of the god of Cricket, couldn’t stray far from ‘Indians’, of course. All of that seems to make sense.
And now we have a new team. Helmed by none other than MSD himself. Team Pune. Even that would have been better than what they’ve chosen to go with. The official team name is out, and Twitterverse can’t stop laughing about it. And this is just the start. Can you imagine the presenters trying to fit all that in into their commentary? Let’s hope their game is going to be better than their choice of name!
