Biotechnology (this course is only offered at Provo High School)

Grades 11-12

Prerequisite: Biology or Human Biology and Chemistry.

Biotechnology is an exploratory course designed to create an awareness of career possibilities in the field of biotechnology. Students are introduced to diagnostic and therapeutic laboratory procedures that support bioscience research and practice. Topics include career exploration, safety, chemistry, cells, bacteria, and DNA.
