Gryphon's Tea and Revision Space invite you to an exclusive tea gallery tour and tasting on Sunday June 8th, 2-4pm. Gryphon will introduce you to 5 teas from around the world to enjoy through the summer, hot or cold. Class and sampling will include discussions of how teas are made, instructions on how to steep teas to make the best cup possible, as well as how to you can evaluate them to find your favorite.

This is the first in a series of tastings that will explore the most consumed beverage in the world next to water. You will get to take home a gift certificate, a sample of your favorite tea and biscotti from the class!

CLOSING RECEPTION FOR NUGENT KOS: Saturday, June 21st. 2-4PM.
There will be drinks, food, fun, FREE stuff and a special installation!

Kos received her BFA in Painting and Printmaking in 1998 at Virginia Commonwealth University and later studied figure drawing at the Beaux Arts de Paris. She has exhibited her work in galleries and alternative spaces in Virginia and France, where she lived for 8 years, showing in such prolific venues as La Chappelle Saint-Louis de la Salpêtrière and the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris.

OPENING RECEPTION: FRIDAY JUNE 27, 6-10PM.

GREAT WAVES is a rotating exhibition of works by 3 emerging local artists throughout the summer: 

Masha Fikhman - BA Studio Arts and History of Art, University of Pittsburgh (2011). Fikhman has actively exhibited and collaborated throughout the city and travels the world seeking inspiration for her whimsical works, which frequently find homes in private collections.
Zack Lee - BA Studio Arts, University of Pittsburgh (2013). Lee was awarded the Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences Undergraduate Studies Award, the Betty Blockstein Levine Memorial Award for his senior exhibition, and has exhibited in Pittsburgh, Annapolis and Portland.
Travis Schwab - A self-taught artist out of his studio in Irwin, Schwab was one of "30 under 30 Groundbreaking Young Artists" in Art Business News in 2013, and his works are in a number of impressive collections and publications.

The works are available "off the wall" and you will see different iterations of the exhibition on various visits and events at the gallery. The opening will be a spectacular art party to welcome summer! Follow us on Facebook or Twitter!

Revision Space offers an energetic program of curated solo and small group exhibitions and maintains a diverse roster of both emerging and established artists. The new storefront gallery is situated in the growing and creative neighborhood of Lawrenceville and exhibits local, national and international contemporary artists.
