PSPA revoked, Camira

Police have revoked an emergency declaration made under the Public Safety Preservation Act in Camira earlier today.

An emergency situation was declared at 10.40am after a suspicious device was located at Bennett Park on Moss Road.

The device has been examined by specialist police and has been deemed to be harmless.

The declaration was revoked around 12.45pm with the exclusion zone lifted.

Police investigations are continuing.
