Well you can look at it another way, often times a major life event like losing someone close to you tragically forces you to reexamine your own life and the fragility of your own mortality and realize you need to get it together.

I never understood how Kelly gets hired for everything. She seems to somehow sneak into errrythang and then you be like, dude, did I just get Jedi Mind Tricked or was that Kelly O?!
@Tina, I'm with you. Joan's death could be enough to push Kelly to make a change.
All Kelly has to do if she wants to change her life around is look at Ozzy. Hes walking dead.

The death of a parental figure is often the catalyst for a young person getting treatment and going into recovery. They do it as their last attempt to get that person's approval. Sometimes it actually work. Good Luck, Kelly!

I don't think it's Kelly O, why would anyone feel sorry for her because of Joan's passing, they are not related. It's likely someone who's naked photos were hacked last week.
Probably Kelly. She and Joan were close but to use her passing as the reason why she has fallen off the wagon is low down.

Kelly Osbourne was my first thought. She has had problems for quite some time and never seems to really get clean. I doubt she ever will as she grew up around drugs.
Joan's passing didn't send Kelly off the rails. On one of the news shows that showed film of the friends going to mourn they said Kelly showed up even though "she had been battling an illness." But of course they were close. Joan was sweet to anyone she worked with. There are no stories of her being a mean person. Everything you hear is about love. RIP
So yeah it's totally Kelly and I don't care why she says she's going, just as long as she goes and I think Joan would say the same. But I totally believe her that Joan was the only grandmother she ever knew. I half believe that when Guiliana said it but I don't think Joan would have kept her on the show if she didn't love her too.
