Desperately seeking...... a mentor:
We have often said at Ashford Place that housing our homeless clients can only be one of many victories that we hope they experience on the road back to independent living. One of our former homeless clients, who first came to stay here last year when he was only 18, has taken it upon himself to continue his studies at college. Currently doing a BTEC Level 3 in Science, he is determined to ensure that he makes full use of his talents and passes his degree. At present, he has several deadlines for coursework that are due later this year and he is finding it a stressful process to get it in on time.
We are therefore asking for someone to help our client with his coursework, who could give maybe an hour or two a week. With chemistry and biology his weak point it would be ideal to have someone with a strong background in both these fields.
If you know someone or are that person yourself, please get in touch to help us continue our client’s journey. info@ashfordplace.org.uk
