SME Internationalisation to Japan

Within the framework of the European Commission’s current main priorities and the global mapping undertaken by the Directorate-General Enterprise & Industry as part of the implementation of the SME Internationalisation strategy, the EU-Japan Centre in 2012 is focussing on supporting the internationalisation of SMEs.

To this end, the EU-Japan Centre is currently conducting a survey among European companies through the intermediary of your local support organisations.

The objective of this survey is to develop an inventory of EU SMEs working (or wishing to work) with/in Japan, and to assess the challenges that these SMEs are facing in accessing the Japanese market and networking with potential partners (Trade & Investment and R&D innovation).
The received questionnaires will help EU Authorities to better understand the needs of SMEs going international and their use of existing business support services.
