Nissan Leaf Commercial: Sockets Sing Happy Birthday!

Nissan likes usually likes to brag that their successful EV is all-electric and doesn’t have a gas tank. However, for the Leaf’s first birthday, they laid down the hatchet and decided to make something ridiculously cute.
To remind people that a full 365 days have passed since the Leaf was launched onto the market, they hired a bunch of singing wall sockets to with it a happy first birthday. Yet, we have to admit that anthropomorphic art still creeps us out. Can you imagine all those sockets watching you when you sleep, and they know what sorts of electrical devices you’re using and shouldn’t…

In total, we counted 27 little faces in the commercial, all watching you when you unnecessarily leave the light on or turn the music too loud.
