'It's not leukaemia' Michael Buble's relative opens up about son Noah's cancer diagnosis

MICHAEL BUBLE'S sister-in-law has shut down claims that his son Noah is battling leukaemia or a condition affecting his central nervous system, after it was revealed that the three-year-old has been diagnosed with cancer.

Daniela Lopilato revealed that the family was "broken in half" as she texted Argentinian journalist Tomas Dente during a morning TV show yesterday.

She wrote: "To tell you the truth, I'm devastated. This is very recent.

"The only thing I ask if that you don't speculate because not everyone has children and can understand what this means."

Michael recently revealed that his three-year-old boy has been diagnosed with cancer

"It's not leukaemia or the central nervous system a people are saying. That's all I can say."

Attempting to silence rumours regarding the type of cancer Noah is suffering from, she continued: "Michael and my sister will publish more statements and I can't say anymore but it's not leukaemia or the central nervous system a people are saying. That's all I can say."

It comes after singer Michael, 41, announced the heartbreaking news in a statement on his Facebook page.

He lamented: "We are devastated by the recent diagnosis of cancer of our eldest son Noah who is currently receiving treatment in the United States.

Michael and wife Luisana Lopilato are also the parents of ten-month-old Elias

"We've always talked about the importance of family and the love we have for our children."

Michael continued: "Luisiana and I will devote all our time and attention to help Noah to get better, for now suspending our professional activities.

"During this difficult time, we ask you to pray for him and please respect our privacy. We have a long road ahead and we hope that with the support of our family, friends, fans around the world and our faith in God, we can win this battle."

The family are believed to have been dealt the tragic blow when they took Noah to the doctors in Argentina - where they reside - with a suspected case of mumps, according to La Nacion.

Micheal and Luisana are also the parents of ten-month-old son Elias.
