I dont like Laverne she cant act and seems full of herself. I am seen many interviews with her and she reminds me of Wendy Williams minus the fun personality and ability to laugh at herself.

@derek, you always have insight to gossip about my fav shows that I do not. I have no idea how you do it but it's always good. Today, however, you broke my heart. I love Laverne and do not want to hear bad things about her. I will have to go watch interviews and see for myself because you have to be wrong on this one. Crossing my fingers :)
I'm puzzled why you say she can't act though. I think she is beyond fantastic.
@Saints ---its just my opinion regarding her talent. and in interviews she seems cold and humorless. and always bragging about dating as she says "rich Jewish guys" .

Count me ad another one who doesn't get the hype of this show. I watched 3 or 4 episodes of season 1 and was not impressed.

It has to be Taylor, Manning and Lyonne for the one giving advice as im pretty sure they have both had well known substance abuse issues.
I know it hasn't been easy for Laverne being a) transgender and b) woman of color but let's not screw up your big break. Be purdy as my grandma would say. Please refer to Teri Hatcher blind as a cautionary tale.
