No, only for t-mob 3.14.531.11 (hboot 2.15) firmware. Difference is that facepalm won't work on that version.

the other s-off does not work if you are s-on and installed the latest ota, it brakes the s-off method. this new one should do ;)

thx for the effort

Ok. But there are no other differences ? Both works same ? I've already done Facepalm. I'm only interested because a friend want to go s-off but he's too lazy to do the facepalm.

If you decide to "plunge" into s=off, try on win first. It will go trough testing stages. If you pass the test 2, the most likely the script will work. If you get stuck on test 2 - it is safe to disconnect and go for Linux. The biggest obstacle is the Sync Manager on the phone. With S=On, can not be uninstalled ( like most bloatware) and interfere with the script. I use Linux Mint v14 KDE, but the Ubuntu should work fine too. Now, with S=Off, I already removed most of the tmob shi.. and other bloatware. Finally the phone is MINE phone.

I just Moonshined my HTC ONE S on Windows 7.
I was unlocked via HTCDEV.
I was rooted.
I was using TWRP.
I was on the STOCK ROM because i didn't feel like flashing a boot.img every time a flashed a new one.
I used Moonshine and everything went off without a hitch!

you should add in the op that phone most be charged to 100

Test 1: Rebooting into bootloader
Waiting for fastboot (7/60)
Waiting
Test 2: Booting device
Waiting for ADB (22/60)
Device detected.....................
[------------------------------------------------------------]
Test 3: Rebooting into bootloader (again)
Waiting for fastboot (7/60)
Waiting for ADB (31/60)
Waiting for device
Battery capacity 46 too low
ERROR: Charge device
Press ENTER to exit

exit: worked after 50+ charged

Do not have to be 100%. I had 67% when I did my s=off. It did in 5min. Charge a bit more and try again. It could require at least 50%, but I am not sure of that.

Hell
S-ON w/ 2.15 hboot and 3.14.531 firmware on T-Mobile
HTC Dev unlocked and stock rooted, windows 8, fastboot off, debugging enabled, using a 2.0 port,
i run it as admin, agree to the terms, it checks for an update anddd...
stops.

"ERROR: run distiller again and READ"
so i give USB 3.0 a shot, and it gets even further to test two and fails to load adb after the reboot.

looks like the previous op was right:

The biggest obstacle is the Sync Manager on the phone. With S=On, can not be uninstalled ( like most bloatware) and interfere with the script.
sync is persistently there

edit: tried to delete htcsyncmanager.apk from system/app but sys rw doesn't seem stick on the OTA

Guys make sure if you want to S-ON after this procedure run an RUU first. If you write secureflag whilst with the custom HBOOT the phone will brick.

I'm not t-mob I'm EU but have the 2.15 hboot too. Can I do it with this hboot ?

No, Facepalm works with EU (3.16.401.8) firmware.
