Staten Island Academy's season came to its conclusion Saturday afternoon with a 10-0 loss to Berkeley-Carroll in the semifinals of the ACIS playoffs at the College of Staten Island.

Ryan Fodera notched the only hits for the Tigers, who watched Berkeley-Carroll take a 3-0 lead in the second and then pile up seven runs in the third on the way to a five-inning mercy-rule victory.

SIA had completed the ACIS regular season with a 5-5 record.
