Hi. I’m looking for a video player WordPress plugin that allows my visitors to create their own video playlist from a collection of checkboxes. So, user selects the videos that they’re interested in and then they click a button to be able to watch the playlist they’ve created. Can your plugin do this, and if not, would you consider coding it for us for an additional fee?

I bought this very recently because I had a rush job to get a quick video gallery posted. I used a modified copy of the default example due to the rush (HTML version). It went very smoothly and I had a lot of questions about customizing the look (particularly rough on my old brain was removing all overlays from the videos – videos are all locally hosted and none of that was wanted) (I’m terrible with css). But the documentation was very helpful and I got it finished.
Almost perfectly too…
The only thing I can’t figure out how to customize on my own is the playlist. It moves a bit uncontrollably. It “bounces” a lot and can be difficult to get it to focus on the top clip due to bouncing back down a bit.
How complicated it it to make the playlist use a scrollbar, or react to the mouse wheel, with no dynamic bouncing?
That is the only thing missing from making this exactly what my client wants, so I would be very grateful if you could help me implement this.
I may well have to buy another license for a separate customer so I really look forward to your reply.

Yes it works with the simplest example provided in the download with a vimeo and youtube link. But I can not get a mp4 working. I put in your script from the documentation. You can see it now as the first item in the playlist (not working)... What to do? https://ontopstudio.nl/test. Are there somewhere more working examples for download. Now only one (the simplest) is in the download. The documentation scripts do have some mistakes I think? (missing end script tag and maybe more?)

No luck with data-sourcevp. (e.g. https://ontopstudio.nl/test) What to do? Mp4 is working fine outside the player in the same browsers. Can you send a working html sample with mp4. The showcases are all very hard to copy from the website. The simple version in the download only has YT and Vimeo.

I changed it before to data-sourcevp as suggested but it did not work, so I changed it back to data-sourcemp4 as written in the manual, which is not working either way. I changed it again now to data-sourcevp so you can see it is still not working: the vimeo works, the mp4 does not… no matter with data-sourcevp or data-sourcevp

Hi, having a wee bit of trouble getting the video gallery to work.
I followed the instructions for creating the HTML, but I’m getting the following errors:

Looking through the files from the install package, there is no vgallery.css or vgallery.js file in the package.
Other than that, the demos look great. I just wish I could run the player.

there is a problem with the server / htaccess if not

Yes, vplayer.js is there but there is still no vgallery.js or vgallery.css, which is what I asked the first time. Without those, your tutorial goes nowhere.
We don’t have vgallery.js and vgallery.css
They are both in vplayer
Then can you please provide an update to the tutorial explaining this, and showing how to use it without those?

1. Yes, if the player is playing it will have a class is-playing assigned
2. This button will only appear for youtube videos – if they have hd mode
If you want it for self hosted videos, you can have a look at example /source/index-one-video-with-qualities.html – this has a quality selector – you can have unlimited qualities like youtube
