PER UN'ALTRA EUROPA, LAICA E DEI DIRITTI
COSTRUIAMO UNA RETE EUROPEA DELLE DONNE E MOBILITIAMOCI
Subito dopo la bocciatura della risoluzione Estrela ci siamo rese conto della necessità di costruire una rete delle donne europee per affermare i nostri diritti all'autodeterminazione, alla libertà di scelta, alla salute e per dare attuazione alla Convenzione di Istanbul.
Le notizie allarmanti che arrivano dalla Spagna però rendono necessario mobilitarsi adesso: non possiamo permettere che il governo Rajoy cancelli i diritti delle donne riportandole indietro di decenni e costringendole all'aborto clandestino, con tutti i rischi conseguenti per la loro salute.
Quanto accade oggi in Spagna potrebbe avvenire anche in Italia, dove registriamo un attacco costante alla legge 194 a causa dell'obiezione di coscienza.
Siamo pronte a mobilitarci con le donne spagnole nelle iniziative che vorranno portare avanti.
Costruiamo e diamo visibilità alla rete delle donne europee: una data possibile può essere l'8 marzo.

LET US TOGETHER BUILD A EUROPEAN WOMEN’S NETWORK, LET’S RALLY

Immediately after the Estrela resolution was rejected we realized how important it is to build a European women's network to assert the right of self-determination, the freedom of choice and women's health and to implement the Istanbul Convention.
The alarming news coming from Spain requires immediate action: we cannot allow the Rajoy government to wipe away spanish women's rights casting them back many decades and forcing them to clandestine abortion, facing serious risks to their health.
What is happening in Spain may happen in Italy too, where we report a steady attack on Law No.194  due to conscientious objectors.
We are ready to rally with the Spanish women, supporting the initiatives they will carry out.
Let us build and divulge a European women's network: a possible date may be the 8th of March.
