OMG!! I loved loved loved this book! I think Lip and Cherry are my favorite couple so far. From the very beginning I felt for Cherry. She didn’t have an easy upbringing, then one night her life is changed forever. Then she meets Lip. He is strong, and assertive. He takes what he wants and he wants Cherry. I was a little shocked at how easy thing seemed to start for them. Cherry needed Lip and then Lip was there. I was happy she finally got someone in her life that she deserves to have. He wants to take care of her. Then when Lip is gone, she has a new family his club. They take her in as one of their own no questions asked. She finally has family. We don’t really see much of Cherry growing with the club in this book, we did see in the first books in the series the kind of badass woman that Cherry grew to be. When Lip gets back to Cherry he isn’t the same man he was before. Cherry doesn’t understand why, but she is willing to be there for him no matter what. When Cherry’s past catches up to her, she goes to the club for help. Lip is shocked to learn what Cherry has been hiding, but then she is shocked to learn what he has been hiding too. When we learned Lip’s secret holy hell did I cry. I was a blubbering mess. I was so so angry with him, I mean I understood, but poor Cherry was heartbroken. She trusted him and the club and they betrayed her. Yes she had her own secret but what they did was way worse. He said things that broke my heart, and I wish I could take them back and never had read them. The story built up from there and my goodness it was amazing! The ending made up for everything. This story was full of lies, love, action, and family. It had everything a good book needs. I love M.N Forgy and I can't wait till i see what direction she takes this crazy group of people to next.

Now, you find out what these two people have gone through in their lives that have molded them to who they are today.

Phillip DeLuca aka Lip, is a hot alpha male, who lives his life for the Devil's Dust and will do anything for the MC. Lip is the type of person who can be sweet as hell one minute and the biggest jerk the next. He will always protect what is his, no matter what the cost is.

Lindsey Cole aka Cherry, is a women who had a tough time growing up, in a dysfunctional family. Her mother died and she was left with her "so called father" and brother. Her brother was always there to take care of her. No matter what she has to do to survive, she will do it.

We find out that Lip and Cherry meet while she is on the side of the road, trying to pickpocket men who stop to help her, thinking she broke down. After, their first meeting Lip can't seen to get her out of his mind, or so it seems. He takes Cherry home with him, where they both start having feelings for each other. But both have secrets that could ruin what they have started.

The book tells how these two meet and then why Lip was in prison for 6 years. When he finally comes home, he is not the same man that Cherry fell in love with. Even though she waited 6 years for him and is now part of the MC, she still feels that something is not right between them.

The Lies Between Us will have you on the edge of seat wondering what will happen next. How will both characters react to the lies that will be revealed. Can they actually get back to where they were before. When reading this book, you will have a love, hate relationship with both these characters. So, one-click this great MC romance novel today!

The Lies Between Us was a book begging for me to make assumptions, to imagine what lies existed and between whom. I gotta say I didn't see it coming. I missed the deception. I missed the guilt. M.N. Forgy created a very cloak and dagger type situation blowing me away. We know from the beginning of Cherry's deception, but the other lies were so unexpected. I have met Cherry in previous books. I liked her. But I had no idea she had been so screwed over before she coming to the club. She has earned my respect. The club gave her security, support, family. It was a lie. For her to get screwed over by those she though of as family pissed me off. I became one of those crazy people bursting out. I slammed characters. I berated them out. M.N. Forgy sucked me into the pages and couldn't climb back out. For a good portion of the book I was angry. As a prospect, Lip became Cherry's protector, taking her in, caring for her, being there for her to love. Devotion to the club sends him to prison, taking the fall for Bull. Lip comes out of prison a different man. Cherry gives him space, but that isn't what he needs. He needs a swift quick. I have a boot with his name on it. I have a boot with Bull's name on it. I also have wet tissues for Cherry. She didn't deserve how she was treated. She didn't deserve her fear. She did deserve justice. I can't express how happy I was when Lip finally pulled the wool from over his eyes. I found the book to have a good balance between love and hate, good and bad. Not so violent, evil that I wanted to close the book. Not so lovey dovey that I wanted to gag.

**Spoiler** Biker lies and mistakes. Cherry is a single mom who loses her child Piper in court. Piper is taken by her one night stand dad Eric just because he can. Cherry has a death threat hanging over her because she witnesses Eric paying the judge and her lawyer to give him what he wants.
She bides her time living in her car and making her living picking the pockets of men who come to help with her broken down vehicle. But she picks the pocket of Lip who is a prospect for the Devils Dust MC. He talks her into coming home with him but she doesn't realise the secret his is hiding will scar her.
Lip goes to prison for 6 years and Cherry stands by him, he tries to withdraw but she stays firmly by his side.
On his release she still hasn't told him about Piper who she has been sneaking off to see. Lip meanwhile has his own demons riding him. Cherry get beaten up by Eric when he catches her playing with Piper. Dani and Doc convince her to ask the club for protection. What gets aired destroys her. Lip was told to keep her busy and distracted and thought she vanish when he went down protecting Bull. FBI agent Stevin raises his ugly head and Lip's psycho brother Zeek trys to force a drug run alliance. Cherry gets shot when a bullet meant for her is partially stopped by Lip. Tom cat dies and Lip is sure his brother is dead.
Cherry and Lip have difficulties with their places in each others life and step back for a breather.
During their time apart they discover that their feelings are true and he actually does like kids. Closeout.....Zeek is alive and wants blood!
