A new Indiegogo campaign is aiming to encourage kids to brush their teeth by introducing a toothbrush that sends information to your mobile phone as part of a dental hygiene game.
The Grush Brush uses motion sensing tech that detects the movement of the brush and transmits the information wirelessly to an interactive brushing game app on your mobile phone. Detailed brushing information can also be saved and stored for dentists to evaluate, according to the campaign's makers.
The company has partnered with mobile game studio Threadbare Games, a California-based company developing strategy games for iOS and Android devices, to develop a number of launch titles for kids, based around dental hygiene.
Grush has received $10,025 of its $50,000 funding goal as of press time, with 45 days to go in its campaign.
