CA Counts Town Hall: The pros and cons of legalizing recreational marijuana

Marijuana has made it onto the California ballot once again. Prop. 64 would legalize recreational use of marijuana and hemp under state law and set the standard for sales and cultivation taxes. But despite the fact that several other states have set an example by legalizing recreational pot, many questions still remain about the pros and cons of legalization, what the economic impact will be, how the marijuana business will be taxed and regulated, and what legalization would mean for law enforcement and the justice system.
