The Allied Mobile Force was created in 1961 as a flexible, highly mobile instrument for intervention on the NATO flanks in case of crises or provocations from the East.
This book analyzes the complex political and military history of NATO's flanks, the changing relevance of these regions in the Cold War, and new dangers in the post-Cold War era.
From 5.30 pm the author will sign copies of the books on sale. Refreshments will be served.
For registration (compulsory for non-NATO staff) you can either fill in the form or send an email to multilib@hq.nato.int
