Season 4 May Have Been Scandal's Most Stylish Season Yet

The ladies of Scandal don't exactly have it easy. On any given episode, they can be found solving murders, struggling to get ahead at work, or, on a rare occasion, trying to escape kidnappers. But the one thing they've all got going for them? The ability to rock a power suit or a stylish shift dress and make it look flawless.

And while "pulling an Olivia Pope" was a term we've used in the past to describe any fierce, work-appropriate outfit, we could easily call out Abby for her new White House style or Elizabeth North for her expertly tailored sets. So with season 4 having just wrapped up, let's look back at all the looks that caught our eye this season. There are quite a few.

ABC

Mellie always looks so sleek and sophisticated.

ABC

A leather jacket and tank or tee combo is totally Quinn's go-to look.

ABC

Serious and sleeveless. Quite a change for this coat queen.

ABC

Ahh, there are those blazers we've grown to love!

ABC

Trading the white hat for a white coat.

ABC

Olivia has mastered comfy yet classic style.

ABC

We don't know which we love more: the jacket or the earrings.

ABC

Even Olivia's casual clothes are pretty polished. This silky robe is way more elevated than your average terrycloth version.

ABC

Gosh — Olivia just has a wardrobe full of comfortable outfits, doesn't she?

ABC

We're digging this double-breasted coat choice.

ABC

Whoa — Abby almost looks like she belongs on Mad Men in this photo.

ABC

Dark and determined to handle this case.

ABC

A bold colored blazer always amps up an LBD.

ABC

Let this serve as proof that structured suits don't have to be boring.

ABC

Mellie, looking pretty in pink.

ABC

Now this is how to wear stripes in a business environment. Eye-catching, layered, but professional nonetheless.

ABC

Abby has taken a page from the Olivia Pope playbook with her robe coat and large handbag.

ABC

The perfect example of how one simple pair of diamond studs can suddenly transform a look. These are so chic.

ABC

Quinn definitely has the most realistic wardrobe.

ABC

Mellie's dress is proof that tweed doesn't have to be stuffy.

ABC

Yet another fabulous coat from Olivia Pope. Soon she'll be giving Mindy Lahiri a run for her money.

ABC

Red is certainly this first lady's color.

ABC

This outfit is perfect for the Winter weather, no matter where you're headed. Thanks for the inspiration, OP!

ABC

Quinn makes a case for the leather jacket being the new blazer.

ABC

Portia can totally rock a button-down, but our eyes are immediately drawn to that bag. A girl can dream. . .

ABC

Can we just say how excited we are to be able to shop Mellie's wardrobe at The Limited? Colorful shift dresses for days.

ABC

Sorry, Olivia Pope doesn't do basic. We're digging this cool jacket design — it's so interesting!

ABC

Even when she doesn't carry a bag, Ms. Pope is in bag-carrying stance.

ABC

Abby could teach bloggers a thing or two about striking the perfect pose.

ABC

*Adds robe coat to shopping list.* We're sold.

ABC

This structured top shows us that a good classic piece is always a hit.

ABC

Quinn plays it dressed-down — and downright cool, but we're partial to that snow-white coat on Olivia (and that Prada tote, too!).

ABC

Abby just gave us all the inspiration we need to polish up our work ensembles.

ABC

Purple looks lovely on the first lady.

ABC

Quinn just gave us some great weekend outfit inspiration.

ABC

The coats are back!

ABC

This is definitely how you pull off comfy clothes at the office. That sweater . . .

ABC

Seriously — how many Prada bags does she own?

ABC

When Olivia sports a structured jacket and a serious face, everyone listens.

ABC

Portia de Rossi really knows how to rock the power suit.

ABC

We're digging Abby's new press secretary style.

ABC

And we also had to include this cape, which you can still buy at The Limited for $228.

ABC

Like, really, really amazing.
