A source told the paper: 'They think the house is perfect. It's got plenty of rooms for Cheryl’s family to stay in when they travel down from Newcastle.'

While Cheryl is currently busy with the X Factor in which she stars as a judge, her restaurateur husband has been away on business in Dubai, Italy and France.

Cheryl - who was previously married to soccer star Ashley Cole - tied the knot with Jean-Bernard in 2014 after just a few months of dating and recently insisted she's not a very demanding wife.

She said: 'Well, I think I'm low maintenance, but maybe I'm deluded.

'I know my environment isn't easy - my day gets planned out in advance all the time, so I'm like, "Oh, actually, change that. We can't meet tonight".'

A spokesperson for Cheryl declined to comment to MailOnline.

Not so pretty now! Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Simon Cowell showed they were certainly not willing to reinvent their on-screen antics as they yet again became embroiled in a playful tiff

Yet both she and Simon Cowell showed they were certainly not willing to reinvent their on-screen antics as they yet again became embroiled in a playful tiff.

The pop star lost her ladylike decorum and stunning poise after the music mogul, 56, dubbed her 'narcissistic' to which she shockingly blew a raspberry in his face.

On the night, the brunette was looking fierce in an elegantly decorated mini dress, which showed off her legs with a racy thigh-high split.

But it only took a little probing from frenemy Simon to crack Cheryl's cool exterior.

The popstar, who is charged with the Groups category, was the first judge to have an act of the stage as 4th Impact opened the show.

They were paying homage to their mentor as they sang Sound Of The Underground - the song that propelled Cheryl's band Girls Aloud to fame in 2002, although they made the song their own by using a mash-up with Clap Clap.

Yet when it came to the point of the evening for judge's comments, a slightly stunted Simon was unsure of the girls' name and was forced to ask Cheryl what they were called - Mylene, Irene, Almira and Celina.

Will they? Won't they? As the duo walked on to the stage they stunned fans when they appeared to go in for a kiss - although it appeared they were mocking the rumours that they are enjoying a romance

Up to their usual bickering antics, Simon told her: '[It was] a tiny bit narcissistic giving the girls your own song.'

Kiera Weathers, who was saved in the bottom two last week, put on a funky version of Mark Morrison's 1996 hit Return Of The Mack while wearing her hair in a slick ponytail and sporting a metallic blue mac.

Cheryl was impressed with the performance saying: 'I have to give it to Rita that was a fantastic song choice. Seriously good reinvention... You started off out of tune but you picked up.'

Simon however was not sold on the former barmaid's performance as he told her he did not know if it was enough to save her next week.
