Local favorite this place is amazing. Fries are hot salad was fresh and the burger was off the charts good local favorite.

Went to Schuberg's for lunch while I was in the area for work. What a fun place. It was not my first time going and it will not be my last. This restaurant has been around since the 1933! They are known for their burgers which you can watch being cooked for you in the open bar kitchen. Today I had a cup of their famous chili which is just like grandma makes it not spicy and full of flavor. I also ordered a basket of cheese curds, which were great to. It definitely is a local hang out and a fun place to have lunch or dinner.

Love this spot. We don't live here and seems like it's definitely a neighborhood spot. They are known for their burgers. We got a salad. It was huge and fresh and filling. Next time I'm back- definitely a burger! It's a must if you're in the neighborhood.

A frequent diner here, I tried for first-time the hot beef and swiis cheese, instead of the standard cheddar, on Brioche roll, upgraded +$3.50 from potato chips to deep fried garlic mushrooms, draft Alaskan Amber.
Next time I will change the brioche roll for a toasted sub roll. The sandwich roast beef was thinly sliced, stacked high, and tasty. I wish they would ogger beef aus jus to dip the beef sandwich.

Some of the best burgers in town! I have been visiting this place solace my college days! They also have a nice chowder!

Enjoyed a nice Bacon & Cheddar "Schu" at lunch today. Took it with a basket of tater tots. Both were delicious. In my past couple visits, I have consistently had good luck with the food. The waitstaff is nice, but run themselves ragged. The downside of the visit, is the length of time. After eating, checks seem to be lowest on priority list. They should create a register at the end where you could, as an option, pay at when finished. But, if in less of a hurry, you could pay at your table.

I live in Utah and I visited my son and his family in Big Rapids just recently. I had the opportunity to dine at Schuberg's one night, my son's favorite eating place in Big Rapids. I had the SUPER YOOPER and I must say it was the best burger I've ever had! Now that I'm back in Utah I'm craving another one. The service was great there and so was the atmosphere. Too bad Schuberg's is some 1600+ miles away from Salt Lake City! I'm looking forward to returning to Big Rapids at some point in the near future.... to visit my son of course!

If you are within a 50 mile radius of this joint, make the trip. The burgers are real. I had the patty melt and my husband the schu burger (I think) and both of our meals were top notch. Burger handmade, toppings perfectly added, and their fries YUM! But what made this stand out was the customer service. Our server was kind, attentive, quick, and had fantastic suggestions! Gina. You are the MVP of the day. Add in that right after we sat down, our 3 year old fell off his chair and bonked his head. A server got a bag of ice and brought it out before we even had a server. Like my husband picked up our son and walked him outside, and when I turned around there was this man with help, faster than I could even think about it. Really....just amazing.
But also, those fries though.
