The premium bus service, which was rolled out last month, had to be revoked after LG Najeeb Jung voiced suspicion that the scheme was meant to “favour one company”. Days later, Leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta filed a complaint with the ACB. “How can they allege corruption when there has been no exchange of money in the scheme yet. It is only on paper,” said Rai.

He also alleged that Gupta’s complaint was planned in connivance with the LG. “If they can prove even Re 1 worth of corruption in the scheme, I am ready to go to Tihar,” said Rai.
