'This is way too hard. I can't do it right now': Student emails her college professor a toe-curling assignment written while DRUNK - and even signs off with 'love you'
- College freshman McKenna Clark had forgotten to do her assignment
- After a night out, she submitted the work to her professor blind drunk
- The student, from Appleton, Wisconsin, posted about it on Twitter
- McKenna's post has since received over 100,000 likes
Many of us are guilty of putting things off or forgetting about tasks until the very last minute.
Perhaps the prospect of nipping out with friends is more appealing than knuckling down to work?
And that is what a college freshman, from Appleton, Wisconsin, did before submitting a garbled homework assignment to her professor while blind drunk - complete with the sign off, 'love you' tacked on at the end.
Uh oh: McKenna Clark posted a copy of an essay that she wrote and then sent to her professor while drunk on Twitter, where it quickly went viral
Funny: The college freshman, from Appleton, Wisconsin, warned others against making the same mistake
McKenna Clark, a student at the Univeristy of Wisconsin-Richland, realised she had forgotten to do a Criminal Justice assignment one evening after a night out and knew she had to submit something. Anything.
And she certainly wasn't prepared to let the fact that she'd had a few drinks stop her from completing the task.
But while checking her emails the next morning, she was horrified to discover she had sent her teacher a short, garbled piece of work that made little sense.
McKenna had been given the assignment of debating whether it should be 'illegal to kiss on train'.
The real deal: To prove any doubters wrong, McKenna's friend Kaylee posted photographic evidence of her friend drunk the night that the paper was written
But after she began her essay she added a rather unorthodox declaration.
'Professor Grams, my name is McKenna, I had some Dr. Pepper's I am doing good.'
Deciding to be brutally honest, she says: 'Your assignment is way too hard. I can't do it right now.'
Proud of what she had done, Mckenna even said 'You are welcome' once she had finished her paragraph.
But she ended on the worst note of all with a sign off in which she said, 'Love you'.
Seeing the funny side of her incomprehensible email, McKenna posted a snapshot of it on Twitter with the caption: 'PSA: don't write papers hammered and then turn them in like me.'
Fan club: Impressed by her drunken scribblings, people were complimentary of her on Twitter - with some even saying they'd hire her
The tweet, posted last week, has since been retweeted 36,179 times and liked 103,305 times.
To prove how drunk McKenna was, her friend Kaylee tweeted photographic evidence, saying: 'If this doesn't tell you how f***** up @kenna_bo__benna was the night she typed that paper, nothing will.'
Others congratulated her on the email said she is 'going places!'
Twitter user Rory Flemming said: 'You have more sensible justice policy while hammered than many prosecutors I know. I'd hire!'
But McKenna has not revealed her teacher's reaction to her assignment - or what grade she was given for the work.
