ASHBURN — For the second consecutive day, Washington Redskins cornerback Quinton Dunbar was limited in practice with a quad injury. However, coach Jay Gruden remained confident that Dunbar is progressing toward being ready for Sunday’s wild-car round game against the Green Bay Packers.
Dunbar was inactive for the Redskins’ regular-season finale against the Dallas Cowboys.
“He had a good day,” Gruden said. “He dd some team work today which was good to see. He showed some bursts of speed. Just a matter of how it recuperates and how he does tomorrow and how he feels.
