My wife loves this game. I personally like it in small doses.

Biblios has quickly become a favorite of mine. I can't get enough of it right now.

Played once and I liked it. Not as interesting to me as AquaSphere which I played for the first time a week after I played Bora Bora. Otherwise this might be rated higher.

Great party game. I am not a party game type person, I certainly feel there is a time and place for them. I would much rather play this than say, Cards Against Humanity.

Kinda like Candyland, but with more strategy. Great game to get things going, to play with less experienced gamers, or to just use as filler.

I really like this game. There is a lot to do, but you are limited each turn to what you can do, so it doesn't take excessively long to play.

I have a beautiful Ohio State checkers set that I recieved as a gift. It has a hand woven picnic style blanket for a board with saucer sized wooden checkers.

I just need to get better at it.

Other than the poor box art, I can't find many flaws in this game. The board and components are beautiful, there is a great depth of play, and I have thoroughly enjoyed every game of this I have played. Can't wait to play it again.

2023 game of the year, so far. I find the player interaction to be non-direct but still something you need to take into account. The mechanics are great and there are multiple paths to victory. The replayability is extremely high, and we haven't even used the second map.

I enjoy this two player game. There is a decent amount of strategy, but you can really get screwed over with a bad hand.

Arkham Horror meets Yahtzee. Nice for a quick fix of that Lovecraft theme, though the app does it with less setup and cleanup! Unfortunately just like Arkham it sometimes feels like it overstays its welcome. The downtime between turns can be just as significant here as it is with Arkham.

A dice fest. Not my style of game, but others in the family like it.

The more I play this game the more I enjoy it. While I like the theme, a lot of people are put off when you describe it as a "fishing game". However once they sit down and play it, I have yet to find someone who doesn't enjoy it.

There is a lot of strategy here and even with as simple as the game can be, most players don't realize the full value of things like Processing Licenses until after their first game.

So play it (more than once) and don't underestimate the Processing License!

So much game in such a small package! The great thing about Love Letter is that you can play a round in 10 min. It literally can be played anywhere.

After two plays this is tied with Trains as the game I want to get to the table most often.

Fantastic game. I'm less excited about the art and graphic design however. If another publisher picked this up and redid the art and graphic design, they would likely have a huge accessible hit on their hands.

A children's game should not be this much fun for sober adults. Every time I have gotten this out, everyone loved it.

I love this game. So simple yet so much fun.

Railways of North America, or Canada as it should be called, is a great 3 - 4 player map. Lots of open spaces with tight clusters of cities. Ferries and the snow line are cool concepts. Not sure if I like mines though.

I don't give this game a 10 because I think it is perfect. Far from it. However, it is my favorite game. The only way I would turn down a game of Railways would be if I had other non-gaming commitments, didn't have enough time, or if I absolutely loathed one or more of the other players. By BGGs definition that makes it a 10.

Good fun social deduction game, that can be spoiled by a bad group. But with the right group of people, it is a winner.
