(FT3) New larger GH4 firmware upgrade on the horizon. GH5 ready for early 2017?

Just for fun: GH5 with FF sensor compared with current GH4

The following info comes via a journalist who recently talked to a Panasonic manager. I don’t know if that’s part of a “hide” tactic but this is what the managers told him:

1) A new major GH4 firmware upgrade is coming within the next few months.
2) The Panasonic GH5 will be on market by 2017.

Now if (and that’s a big “if”) the manager told the truth than Panasonic could wait til 2017 to launch the GH5 to incorporate major new features. This could be for example be the new organic sensor and 8K recording.
