The Stiff 7" EP's (1977-1979)
In 1977, Stiff planned to release four 7" EP's but only three of them were actually issued: Nick Lowe's "Bowi", Alberto Y Lost Trios Paranoias's "Snuff Rock" and Mick Farren's "Screwed Up". The Wreckless Eric's "Piccadilly Menial" EP (LAST 3) was never released. After Jake Riviera had left Stiff Records, one more 7" EP by australian band The Sports (LAST 5) was issued in 1979.

Do you know anything more about the unissued Wreckless Eric EP? According to Bert Muirhead's book "Stiff - The Story of a Record Label," it's a "legendary lost EP by Wreckless Eric produced by Ian Dury. The tapes are still in the Stiff tape room." I've always wondered if they really are unreleased tracks or if they're songs that were issued on another one of his albums or singles...
"Piccadilly Menial", the Wreckless Eric EP was wupposed to be released as LAST 3, but no test pressings are known
The songs were
Excuse Me / Personal Hygiene / Rags & Tatters / Piccadilly Menial
Three of the songs were subsequently released (but were they the same versions?, i don't know), only "Piccadilly Menial" remains unreleased until now.

I have all of these! I understood at the time that Nick Lowe's EP was called "Bowi" as David Bowie had released his "Low" Album the same year! Nick (or whoever thought this one up in the Stiff camp) showing a great sense of humour as usual with the Stiff lads at the time.
