Thanks for your interest in the Virtual Field Trips for Google Science Fair 2015. This is a form for teachers to sign up their classrooms to participate in live Hangout On Air sessions.

Google Science Fair is an international science competition for high school-age students. Our Virtual Field Trips are educational Hangouts On Air with world-class scientists and technologists. We're looking for one or two classrooms to participate in each Hangout On Air. This form will help us understand if your classroom could be a fit for one of these Hangouts.

The minimum age for any participating students is 13 (grade 8). *We will require a completed hard-copy form signed by a parent or guardian for each student who will be on camera in the Hangout.* In addition, we require at least one instructor who will also be on camera with the students, and that instructor must sign an online Media Release form.

When you run the Speed Test (described below), please be sure that the computer and network that you are using is the same that you would be using for the live Hangout. We also require that you are connected to your network via an Ethernet cable, since WiFi networks are rather variable in their performance.
