First let me start by saying this review is completely spoiler FREE!!!

I started this book yesterday and because of life and sleep I had to wait and finish it today. Y'all this book blew my damn mind!! You cannot tell that it's her debut novel. Honestly I rank it up there with the big dogs!! This book is that good! You have Abigail that wakes from a coma and she doesn't remember anything but one number. And these memories (they give me chills just thinking about them.) Her world comes crashing down on her as she struggles to find herself and her place in the world she has NOBODY she's alone. Honestly she's stronger than I could have ever been. Then you have sweet sweet Matt who meets this confused ex supermodel that has the memories. How do they connect these two people? Well I can't tell ya that or I would ruin it for you. Oh and I cannot forget Trey, Kellie, or David they are all background characters that you just fall in love with. Seriously you have some type of emotion from EVERY character you meet in this book!! And now brings me to the storyline... It was one of those "keep you on the edge of your seat, wanting more" kinda books seriously I didn't even wanna shower I'm not lying just ask her! It was beautiful, it captured your heart from the very beginning. Gabbie poured her heart out in this book and it clearly shows. After reading this book I feel more connected with her as a person. I already love her but now I understand her more (I hope that makes sense cause its the only way I can describe it) THIS IS A MUST READ BOOK!!! Gabbie darlin' you rocked it!! And now this girl has a better understanding of the friend she met just months ago. I love you and am so so proud of you!!!

Actual Rating 1.5 stars since I managed to finish the entire thing.

This book felt very amateurish, from the plotline to the characters. At first the story was interesting since I love reading books tackling amnesia/memory loss but things just went down hill. It was predictable and not that original, also the characters weren't that much likeable. It was just a waste not to finish so I forced my self to read this till the end.

And then there was this:

“I know you don’t want to hear it, but my only excuse for doing it was that I was frustrated from what didn’t happen that morning. She threw herself at me and I took advantage. I wasn’t thinking about the consequences, all I could think about was how pissed I was that I didn’t get to finish what I had started that morning with you,”

That fucking excuse! OMFG!? My eyebrow went to the back of my head, that line gave me a freaking migraine! *deep breath*

She caught Bill her first fiance fucking his p.a. that's why she bailed on him amongst other things and it freaking happened again with Matt and the poor girl forgave him!? SMH

I'm not that interested in reading the next book in this series.

Update: I just found out that Abby and Matt will be back for a book 2! I hope my questions will be answered. Uping my rating to 3.5 Stars! I can't wait to continue their story.

I am torn with my review. I like the idea of the story, I liked the characters but I just didn’t like how it all played out in the end. I was right away hooked with the story of Abby; a supermodel waking up from a coma but not remembering who she or who anyone is. She discovers her fiancé’ is cheating on her and that her perfect life isn’t as perfect as it seems. The only thing Abby can remember is a phone number and partial memories of a man with dark hair. Abby tracks down the phone number leading to Matt, also the man in her memories. The problem is…. Matt and Abby have never met.

Let’s start with the characters. I liked the characters a lot. I love that Abby became a new person after waking up from being in a coma and she isn’t the self-absorbed model she once was. I liked the character of Matt as well and felt I knew him such as much as I did Abby even though the story is told only in Abby’s perspective. Trey was a lot a fun character; I would have liked to have read more scenes with him.

Abby begins to get more memories over time of Matt at different times in his life. She learns who she is getting these memories from and who they belong to but that is where I get confused with the story. Is this a paranormal book? HOW is Abby able to get the memories? It’s not really explained “the why” after we learn “the who”. I would have liked more explanation behind it; it’s such a large part of the book. Also the book ends without anymore talk of it… it just kind of gets forgotten about.

I absolutely LOVE that there is build-up between Matt and Abby. They form a great friendship and connection that happens immediately once they meet. Matt is a man-ho and Abby just needs a friend, someone she can trust. They are there for each other before any romantic feelings form. I understood their connection. It was sweet and enduring how Matt wanted to protect Abby from everything and anyone.

Over all, I thought the story was okay. There were things I liked a lot and things I didn’t like.

I give Unspoken Memories 3 Stars.

I really don't know how to star this book so I am not going to.

**MILD SPOILER AHEAD - READ AT OWN RISK**

I was keen to read it and the beginning of it sucked me in. The premise of her waking from a coma with someone else's memories and not remembering who she was, was something fresh and I looked forward to seeing where the author was going to take it.

And then... nothing. I was flipping through the book pretty fast because I REALLY wanted to know how it was going to play out. I did finish the book but I have to admit that I was so disappointed in it.

I didn't really like Matt and couldn't connect with their relationship. I felt like there were a lot of loose ends with regards to her fiance. BUT the main problem I had with this book was that we got no answers with regards to her memory! Perhaps the author never meant for that to be part of the plot but for me, that was the main plot twist and I really needed an answer.

The characters started out interesting to me but quickly fizzled into New Adult immaturity and I am pretty over the NA dramatics at the moment - perhaps if you enjoy NA, you will enjoy this one.

I guess that there may be some answers about her memories in the second book but I won't be reading it. It just felt like that aspect of the book was forgotten about while the angst in the relationship was examined and I didn't like that, it wasn't what I was looking for.

only a few days until book 2 I loved this one Matt Garcia swoon. You know I must be honest I dont like ghost, paranormal or fantasy. This was a GREAT romance/suspense story with a side order of a ghost. I cant explain it exactly but the main character was great. She wakes up from being in a coma and hear things between a man and a woman. These things are disturbing and they quickly take over the book. This is where the plot goes into overdrive. Our Abigail Adams is an up and coming supermodel. Im old so I will think of her as a young Kathy Ireland. She quickly realizes she has no memory. The fall damaged her and she cant figure things out. Then she remembers a phone number, gets a private investigator and finds the person connected to the number. Boy oh boy this was very well done!

The characters are so good and the memories are clear to Abbie, so clear in fact I was stunned at the twist that happens relating to them. I guess if someone is no longer here in the physical world they are still here in spirit. I totally believe that. This by no means is a paranormal book, its a new adult romance and it has a twist. It is a marvelous book that ends with you wanting more but not needing it. No cliffhangers. Gotta love that.

What I loved was how the minor story was running a marathon. As a model she never thought about exercise, just diet modification. Abigail takes up running with her new found friends. It was very inspirational reading how she starting to run some really big marathons.
The author does a great job with the romance aspects of Abigail. There is a steam factor here. I think the level is a good 8 on a 1-10 scale. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I have a few days until book 2 what a deal!

Unspoken memories is 5 stars of amazing… Gabbie Durans debut novel was definitely something special. Abigail is a super model who has an accident and is left in a coma. When she wakes up she doesn’t remember who she is all she can remember is a phone number. Little does she know this number will change her life forever. Matt is gorgeous, sweet and special and is thrown into Abigail’s life unexpectedly the question is does he deserve to be there? I’m all about romances I love when couples fall in love but lately I feel like I’m reading the same story over and over but Unspoken Memories had what I needed something different a twist and it left me speechless at times it is just the perfect mix of every emotion and I couldn’t recommend it more. So I absolutely loved this book and have a major book hangover I can’t even bring myself to read another book because I want to linger awhile in this one ;) I laughed, yelled and said Fuck!! Way to many times but enjoyed every minute that Abigail formed friendships better yet family. This book keeps you wanting to know more it leaves me waiting patiently (I’m lying I have the need to message Gabbie everyday till it comes out lol) for book two and yes there will be a book two. This book is not a book you want to miss if you don’t read anything I recommend this one is one you definitely want to read…~Raquel

What can I say; overall I loved the concept of the book. I read a lot, so lately the trend seems to be in the “romance” department, which everyone is instantly in love. That’s all well and good, but sometimes I like the angst of seeing someone, being attracted to them on some level and the feelings evolving over time. That’s what Gabbie has given me. Totally original plot, was a little squeamish about how Abigail learned of Matt then add her desires, I was a little worried exactly where I was being taken, but it turned out I was in a safe place! HA! Unspoken Memories is a well written, an awesome debut, and the story grabs you, keeps your attention, and flows right through till the end. I love the fact there are some hints of suspense, a bit of otherworldly, romance and lust giving the reader a total well-rounded story. Gabbie is an amazing writer and I am excited to see what she brings us in the future. Great Job 4 Stars

This was an amazing story .. It had hurt and love and at points I wanted to scream in frustration and kill Matt!! But he made up for it eventually :) If u like a good romance that isn't all about sex ( don't get me wrong it had hot sex scenes) but I'm tired of reading books that every page is nothing but sex! It had the build up to the explosive moment and I love every minute of this story I couldn't put the dang book down! Thanks again Gabbie hope there is much much more to this story!!' I know most stories u want more for just the main characters but I would love to see more of all tr characters in this story that's how well it was written ... So me patiently waiting!! Loved it!

Unspoken Memories is one of those books you can’t put down!

When I first start a new book, specially if no one recommended it yet, I do it without expectations and I love that, because having your mind blown away by a new book is one of my favorite things ever! And it happened with this book!

When I first read the blurb I was already expecting me to like it, but I was hooked from the first letter to the last one! This book has it all, a little bit of action, sexy scenes, a swoon worthy male (more than one), friendship, love and a GREAT heroine!

When I pimp a book to my friends the first thing they ask me is ”Is it dark?”, because, well, I’m known for my taste in dark, mind f**ck readings. This book is NOT dark, what it is though, is AMAZING!

We first meet Abgail when she is waking up from a 4 month coma and right there we can see who the bad people in the book are…She wakes up with no memories of who she is, but there is a conversation she witnessed before her accident (I have my doubts about this word describing what happened to her, actually) and a phone number.

The phone number she discovers is not her fiancé’s and she move back with him just see for herself what a lying piece of s****t he really is.

Then she meets Matt…well, the meeting and who Matt is was something I was seriously NOT expecting. You’ll need to read the book to experience it and see what I’m talking about…the way Gabbie wrote it we are certainly expecting something just to be shown that it isn’t that. But don’t worry, it’s better!

Abgail is a great character, she isn’t weak, at least the new Abgail isn’t, I don’t know the supermodel of before the accident, but I gotta say she is changed! She doesn’t take bullshit from others, she speaks her mind, she is kind, compassionate, and a great friend.

Matt is just as great! He is HOOOOT, sweet, a great friend too, has a body worthy of his athletic trainings and he is completely swoon worthy! I dare you not to fall in love with him! :)

Together they find a way into a friendship that leads them to understand each other better and also that teaches them to cope with their lives and to live again. They start walking the path of a great friendship turning to love…but as usual, it isn’t easy…Matt is still hung up on his first love, the one that led him to turn into a player and Abgail is still hung up on her ex-cheating (not the ex, but to the fact that men cheat and she doesn’t want to take a chance with Matt’s player ways with fear of being hurt more)…

This is a story about second chances, but not second chances because of a missing opportunity, but because life got in the way and the universe shows that even though things can end, new things can start and develop to be just as great if not better!

I could talk here for hours about how great the characters and the story are, but this is one of those books you have to experience to truly understand what I’m talking about!

I don’t have all the words to say all I wanted to say about it, just know that I will be following Matt and Abgail’s story until the end and I’m sure I will love it all, because Gabbie’s writing is just amazing that way! She has a way to tell the story that makes you part of it. A week after reading it, I’m still thinking about it (I can’t go running without thinking of Matt and Abgail and I wish I had my own Matt to run with!!!).

I really fell in love with this book. When I was first finishing it, I thought there were some lose ends, but then I realized it is a series, so no lose ends. Also there is no cliffhanger. But you will be wanting more, as I already said, Gabbie’s writing and story is addictive!

I can’t wait!!

Where do we start, Abigail is wakes up with amnesia and so begins her journey. We find out that she is a model and has a boyfriend/manager named Bill. Abigail remembers nothing of her own personal life but she does have this recurring phone number going through her mind. SHe has no idea who it belongs too but deems it must have some importance if it all that she remember. Once she is released from the hospital she is thrust into a life with her life with Bill. She is not happy and has no idea how she could have been this person. She doesn’t care for who she was. Abigail already has her suspicions about Bill since she overheard something in hospital room that proves he may not be “sweet and attentive” boyfriend he tries to come off as. She decides to use her resources to find the owner of the phone number running through her head and do some digging into Bill. This is how we are introduced to Matthew Garcia. She takes Matt’s address and pays him a visit thinking it may help jog her memory. No such luck but she finds she is attracted to him. She also starts getting memories that don’t belong to her but to Matt’s now deceased sister, Em. When she catches Bill banging his personal assistant she decides to pack up and leave but since she has no idea where to go she ends up at the doorstep of the only person she does know….hottie Matt.

Matt is kind of a manwhore….no scratch that…hehe….just a manwhore. Now Mari did not find him lovable or endearing :) but I did. I am not saying that he easy to love cause he really is not but for some unknown reason, I understood him so I could still find him loveable. Mari, not so much. We also meet Matt’s roommate, Trey. We fucking loved Trey, he is hot, sexy and funny. He really is super easy to love. He may be the only character in the book who doesn’t piss you off. Well him, David and Kelly. We will be honest, we spent half the book pissed off. It is kinda impossible not too but that does not make it bad book. There are perfectly good reasons why you are pissed and you should be pissed.

One scene will have you saying OMG and shaking your head and threatening bodily harm. We may have threatened Gabbie with bodily harm. It still makes me angry when she brings it up ;) We can’t say this is a HEA because the ending is a little ambiguous. This is more of “Happily so far…” with her leaving open many questions that I can understand, as a reader, you want answers to. On a happy note there will be a book 2, Unspoken Promises. Gabbie has given us her word that all our questions will be answered. Mari has already told Gabbie she would cunt punch her personally if book 2 didn’t make her happy. We are not above threatening here….lmao. This story is not one if you want warm fuzzies, unicorns and rainbow…its real and crappy just like life is sometimes. The main characters make stupid decisions but then don’t we all. I truly believe everything we do, good or bad, we learn from and so will Abigail and Matt. It will not be easy road I can tell you that. However, you found yourself drawn into and enjoying the story even though the mishaps our characters find themselves in. For a debut novel, all things considered….we truly believe Gabbie did a wonderful job. We are excited for book 2 and to see her grow as an author. We have no doubt as she keeps writing, learning and growing she will be able to bring us some great books in the future.

I am so tired right now while I write this review so I apologize if it sucks! Why am I so excited you ask? Oh that would be due to the fact that I was up ALL night reading this book and could not put it down! Gabbie is an AMAZING author and I cannot get over the fact that this is her first ever book release! She is so talented and I cannot wait to read what more she has to offer in the near future!

Abigail Adams is a well-known supermodel that has it all! She is rich, gorgeous, successful, engaged, and well on her way to being an even bigger deal! After a brutal fall, Abigail ends up in a coma and wakes up with amnesia. All that she remembers are memories that do not appear to be hers. Abigail feels that her life is all wrong. When she is released from the hospital and has to return to her life she realizes her house is not what she would have considered a home. The pictures on the wall show her that she was conceited, and she has so many clothes that she wonders why she would have needed so many and why she never sent them to charity. Even looking at her fiancé makes her sick. Was she really that unhappy and self-absorbed before the accident? All she remembers is the man in her dreams and a phone number. Needing answers she goes on a journey of self-discovery and she is lead to the man that will change her future.

Matt Garcia recently lost his best friend and the only blood family he had left. He spent his days being the star quarter back for his college football team, partying at night, and being a man whore in between. Matt did not plan on settling down with any other woman except for his first love. Since that did not appear to be happening anytime soon, he figured he would play the field and protect his heart. Until the night his doorbell rang and the famous Abigail Adams was at his doorstep with memories of the man staring back at her, but absolutely no clue how they knew each other! Will Abigail get her own memories back? Is she willing to start new memories and trust another man? Will Matt let go of his past and start living and loving again? Well hold on tight, because you are in for a wild and bumpy ride!

I felt like I was in this story! The journey that Matt and Abigail take to figure out why she has memories of him and discovering who the new Abigail Adams is was amazing! Their story was so gut wrenching, powerful, and frustrating at times that I thought I was going to need a drink! Matt is so loyal to the people he loves and is true to his word that he is absolutely sexy! I am not going to lie I did want to slap him at times, but watching how he changes and becomes an even better person is heartwarming! His roommate Trey really brings this book to life and left me laughing! All of the characters are so unique and I wish I could be friends with most of them!

I do not want to give too much away! I will not lie, I was more frustrated than not! I have to give this book 4.75 stars! Besides not being able to put it down, I felt like I was on a roller coaster ride of emotions! You may or may not cry, but I can guarantee you will catch yourself smiling, laughing, yelling and wanting to slap somebody! I cannot wait for the next book in this series and to join this group of friends that are so close they are family in the next chapter of their lives!

5 out of 5
With the relative ease of self-publishing these days, there are a lot of “debut novels” cropping up all over the web. What isn’t cropping up are a lot of quality “debut novels”; instead we have to muddle through the mediocre and the lame copies until we find a diamond in the rough. Unspoken Memories is that diamond. Gabbie sent me a copy of Unspoken Memories in exchange for sexual favors an honest review after I whined about needing a good book in a private group. She had previously sent me a teaser and I was salivating and impatiently waiting for its October release date.
Well, honey, let me tell you- Gabbie S. Duran writes relatable characters with a storyline that had me blown away. I was so engrossed in this book that I fed my kids popcorn and yogurt for dinner. I just couldn’t put it down.
I needed answers and I needed to know what was going to happen next and oh, I was a mess! I laughed, I cried, I gasped, I harrumphed, I yelled, and I sighed. Gabbie’s dialogue is so natural and the pace of the book was fabulous. Plenty of drama and angst but not to that “oh good heavens, what now?” level. I can’t think of anything to bitch about. Watching things unfold between Matt and Abigail was a beautiful journey. He needed someone to care for and she needed to be cared for. I loved how Abigail handled herself in each predicament that she found herself in. Didn’t matter if it was a sneaky fiancé or runner’s wall or outrageous lust or fear, Abigail was a heroine to root for. And Matt. *swoon* He’s the perfect mix of playboy, athlete, protector, and best friend.
“Look, I don’t know what’s going on in that beautiful head of yours, but whatever it is, it brought you to me, which makes you mine now, and I always protect what’s mine, Abigail.”
Look, I’m not gonna write you a book report. Just believe me when I tell you that this chick is gonna do great things with her writing. She nailed all of the things that I need in a great book: characters that are believable and likable, smooth dialogue, enough drama and angst to keep things interesting, a little intrigue, a lot of lust, and an ending that made me do the sappy ‘sigh’. Oh, I thought of something to bitch about- I need more. I’m a glutton and need a little bit more of Abigail and Matt.

"I...Choose...You...Beautiful. There will never be anyone else. You are my life, my world, my everything, and you'd have to kill me in order for me to let you go" - Matt

Abigail is a famous model who wakes up in the hospital after being in a coma. She remembers nothing of her previous life, except for a phone number that keeps repeating in her head. When Bill, her fiancée and manager comes to the hospital she instantly doesn't trust him. Abigail hires a private investigator to figure out why she is so uneasy with him and to find out who the phone number belongs to. Through the investigator, she learns that Bill has been embezzling her money and cheating on her. But he is also able to give her the name and information of the person who owns the number in her head. Matt Garcia.

When Abigail comes home from a run to find Bill having sex with his personal assistant, she packs a bag and gets on a train to find the mysterious man. Matt and his roommate Trey, take pity on her and let her stay until she figures everything out. The three become fast friends and soon Matt and Abigail begin spending time together through their shared passion for running. They are very attracted to each other but they are both afraid of messing up the friendship. When they finally give in to their growing feelings for each other and admitting that they love one another.

"I want everything. I want to wake up next to you every morning. I want to fall asleep next to you, knowing that I'm going to hold you all night. I want to be there for you whenever you need me, but most of all, I want the whole world to know that you're mine" - Matt

I wasn't sure how this book was going to turn out after reading the synopsis. It could have been either really bad or really good. I am happy to say that it was the latter. The author did a very good job of pulling the reader in and keeping the story moving and interesting. It ends with a HEA but it takes the whole book to finally get there. There was a while that I thought that it was going to end in a cliffhanger! I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

I loved this book for the most part. The characters were well written and captivating as well as aggravating at times. (MATTHEW, I'M LOOKING AT YOU BUSTER!)
It's told from Abigail's POV.

When Abigail Adams, famous super model, wakes up in the hospital from a bad fall down the stairs, she doesn't know why she is there or really who she is. The only thing she can remember is a phone number. When her creepy fiance/manager greets her at the hospital she knows he is no good, for a few reasons. She is uncomfortable and just wants to be left alone. As she learns more about who she was, she realizes that she wasn't a nice person and never wants to be that way again.

She is having day and night dreams about a guy that might have a connection to her but she doesn't know his name. When she hires a PI to find info into her past and info about the person the phone number she remembers belongs to she decides to pay him a visit after her douchenozzle fiance shows his true colors.

The phone number belongs to one Matthew Garcia, a college senior who lives in Portland. When Matt answers the door, Abi is surprised to see the guy from her dreams standing in front of her. However, after learning that he has no idea who she is besides a famous super model she is really confused. Matt and his hunky roommate Trey end up being super protective of Abigail and they end up being not only close friends but roommates as well.

There is a definite connection between Abi and Matt, and just when you think that Matt may have given up his player ways, boom, sike! Ass! Ugh.

So what is the connection with Abi seeing Matt's face in her dreams? Will she ever get her memory back? And what about Matt and Abi being more than friends? Read Unspoken Memories and find out.

Then keep a watch out for book two coming soon called Unspoken Promises.

*Note*- This book doesn't end in a cliffy but you know there is more to come. Hopefully more of Trey's story! Wink wink, nudge, nudge, Gabbie!

This story is a wonderful debut novel by Gabbie! This book brought out sadness, anger, betrayal, deception, hurt, pain, joy and much more!

Abigail wakes up not knowing where she is but hears 2 voices. She realizes she is in the hospital but doesn't remember her own name or the man supposedly her fiance. However, she dreams of another man (Matt) and goes to see him. She finds him sexy and much more!
She realizes that her fiance has been cheating on her and leaves him. She arrives at Matt's house and turns to him and his roommate for support. She likes Matt more than she should but does NOT want to be put on a "friends with benefits" girl of his. Can she keep her walls up or will the memories she keeps seeing push her towards him or will Matt break her heart before she makes us her own mind?

Matt is a sexy playboy! He was heartbroken and can only give women what he can give and nothing more! However, when Abigail comes to his place he is floored by what she tells him/ the things she is seeing/saw/memories she has had. He doesn't want to believe what she is saying but definitely wants to protect her. When she leaves his place and returns bruised he agrees for her to stay at his/Trey's place. Things heat up, friendship blossoms, running partnership emerges between him and Abigail and more! But can the man who doesn't do commitment be able to want a real relationship or will he lose it all?

I enjoyed the characters in this book. I loved Abigail's determination, the ring tones (loved that part),the loved exchanged between Matt and Abigail and much more!

You will be saddened, happy, laughing, crying, shocked and much much more!

I am now very eager and can not wait until Gabbie writes the 2nd book in this series!!

I just finished Unspoken Memories and loved it. Matt and Abigail are so cute together. Abigail has been in an induced come because of a fall. She is in the middle of regaining consciousness when she hears an argument between a man and women about her care and that they are fu** buddies, but before she can acknowledge anything because she doesn’t know what is going on, she goes back under. She comes too and realizes that she has amnesia and that she was a famous model. She also realizes that the guy that she heard before is her fiancé. All that she can remember is a number and another guy’s face. This wills her to get better quickly to find the only thing that she knows. What will she find? Will she be able to accept things? What will happen when she founds out things are not always as they seem. You will have to read and see....

I really enjoyed the story. There is a paranormal hint to it and wasn’t ever really explained but to me didn’t take away for the story at all. I did think that the story flowed really well. The characters were awesome. I loved them, especially Trey. So hilarious, loved how things went when they met.

You will have so many emotions in this story. I was happy, laughing my butt off at some points to being so beyond pissed that I just wanted to throw my phone or jerk the character out of my phone to strangle them. At the end of the day, things had to happen the way that they did to end they way I liked it.

If you are looking for a good, sexy read then get this one. You will not be able to put this down.

Story 4.5

This book was an amazing read, you fall in love with the characters straight away, Abigail is just beautiful, she is a model but does not remember this after waking from a coma, her partner at the time is someone that I hated straight from the start of the book, when bad things go down she ends up on Matts door step, because when she wakes from her coma, it is his phone number she remembers, but she has never met him, this is were the story gets me really hooked and I am sure it will have you hooked when you go on this journey with Matt and Abigail, Matt is so protective over Abigail and they become very close but Matt fights his feelings for Abigail and does things that have you thinking, omg why did you do that, why cant you realise that she is the one for you. This book is a beautiful written story that will have you laughing, but the next minute you will be in tears, I would highly recommend this book, well done Gabbie I cant wait for the next installment

I want to simply start with this:
The amount of sexual tension throughout this book makes you want to get laid after every chapter!
*ahem* Now that I have that out of my system, I saw this as an absolutely beautiful (and in many senses heartbreaking) book. As I sit here begging for a continuation of this book, I want to go back and read this. I was sucked into this book enough to read straight through, with the occasional pause to scream or cry at these amazing fictional characters.
There were a few points where my poor emotions were used as a yo-yo in which one second I'm in love and the next moment you want to give him a sharp kick in the shin. But those feelings are what makes REAL characters. I am absolutely in love. If I were to lose my memory one thing I would definitely remember would be this book. ;)

I have to say Unspoken Memories is a really good book. Gabbie Duran had written such a captivating book. Abigail is ideally on strong cookie. For all she has gone thru she remains strong. Matt is the guy you love but want to punch him when he messes up. I had a few WTF moments but that's the point of the story to get you involved. There's so much sexual tension there! I love Kelly and David. They were great friends to Abigail when she needed them the most. Trey is the go to guy! He's fun! I can't wait to see this story continue!

4.5 exactly the kind of ANGST I was looking for!!!

So I am a big fan of the angst.
UM had it!!
It also had some sexual build up!! which is always good. ;)

Loved Abigail's character.
She was so strong.
Knew what she wanted and fought as much as she could for it.

Matt was so SEXY!!!
lol
He was the character I related to in this book.

In some parts the book dragged on a little.
But then you figure out later why it had to be that way.

I can't wait to read more!!

I love a good losing memory book when they how to rediscover who they are and plus fall back in love or find a new love. I thought I was reading a romance but found it to be pure fantasy and a ridiculous one at that.
Abigail was a famous model who"supposedly" lost her footing and fell down a flight of stairs and ends in a coma for 4 months. While in this coma she hears her fiance' and someone discussing how they are stealing her money and cheating. Plus she doesn't know who she is. All she can remember is a phone number. Here is where I get lost. She has memories but they are not hers. She sees a face that she thinks she remembers but she doesn't know who it is. When she finally comes out of the coma she goes home but doesn't quite trust Bill. She hires a P.I. to get info and when he confirms her story she isn't sure what she is going to do. He also finds out who the number belongs to. Abigail takes off to see how she knows Matt. Here is where it just sinks into a dumb pit for me. Matt doesn't know her but obviously she is having his dead sisters memories. REALLY??????
After all the stupid shit that Matt pulls I was so over and disgusted with Abigail. Why after what her ex put her through would she continuously forgive Matt for the whore that he is? I kept rooting for her to come to her senses and leave and start over again but NOPE she just kept kissing his ass and taking whatever crumbs he threw her way. Dumb bitches deserve what they get!!!!
I also find it funny for someone who was never a runner to all of a sudden be this amazing athletic runner that everyone is clamouring for her to run in marathons.
Also what with her being grossed out by her ex but she couldn't stop herself from being turned on and have sex with him.

4.5 Stars!!!
Very interesting idea for a story! I absolutely loved the whole concept of famous girl waking up with no memories of who she is. It was a different spin on your modern day romance story which I found to be very refreshing. I cannot imagine what that would be like, let alone getting random memories which you later find out are not even your own! That would seriously freak me out beyond belief.

Abigail's fiance, Bill, was one hell of a jackass! You would think being that his future wife was in a coma and had finally awoken he would be happy... but he was bitter and cruel, and seemed to not care one single bit about helping Abigail settle back in to her "new" old life. The way he would act and speak to her really had my blood boiling, and I was very tempted to take up kickboxing to get off some of my anger towards his character (but I am too lazy to actually do it lol).

In the beginning of the story I felt really bad for Abigail, but as the story progressed I began to realize that her losing her memory was probably the BEST thing that had ever happened to her. Sure, before the coma she she had the fame and fortune, but the one thing you don't know if she had was happiness... I don't think that she did indeed have this before. When Abigail woke up and started having random memories, they ended up leading her to Matt. I seriously LOVED Matt's character so much! Yes, there were quite a few times where he really screwed up, but at least he tried to make things right. He never took advantage of Abigail and her status/money where many people would have, nor did he try and take advantage of the fact that she couldn't remember anything from her past. He was very protective of her, even though they were not an item. Matt didn't date. He never allowed himself to get close to a girl other than his ex, but things with Abigail were different. Although he did all he could to be a good friend to her, the feelings that seemed to be developing inside both of them was undeniable. He definitely was a quite cocky man, which in real life would be a HUGE turnoff to me... however I found it to be quite sexy in this book (and other books as well). Despite him being a bit of a man whore, Matt was a real sweetheart. Every time he called Abigail "Beautiful" my heart melted a little bit more than the last.

"Look, I don't know what's going on in that beautiful head of yours, but whatever it is, it brought you to me, which makes you mine now, and I always protect what's mine."

There were quite a few scenes that had a VERY steamy buildup but left you completely high and dry which was KILLING ME! It got to the point where I NEEDED Matt and Abigail to just get it on already so that I could get my fix I needed so badly! I swear, if I was a guy I would have been left with a severe case of blue balls many times throughout the story!!! Even though I was not living the story, I almost started feeling sexually frustrated myself! The chemistry between Matt and Abigail was so intense, but neither of them wanted to admit just how much they really needed each other. I have to admit, I really did enjoy this part of the story however.

"I'm like an addict when it comes to his kiss, craving my next fix against his mouth."

The only complaint I personally had with the whole story was involving how Abigail was getting someone else's memories. Now, I absolutely LOVED this whole concept, and the beginning execution of it was awesome. However, it seemed like this was such an important part of the story, and where it started off very strong, I felt as the story went on, it started to fade into the background. And towards the end it was almost as if the idea was forgotten about completely. I would have liked to have seen it incorporated into the entire story a little more. That being said, the book overall was really great, and I def would add it to my 'must read' list. Gabbie has a wonderful way in which she makes her words flow on the pages, and I absolutely cannot wait for the next book to come out!!!!

4 1/2 MEMORABLE STAR THOUGHTS!

OH MY . . . I did not want this book to end! I was sucked in like a moth to a flame and could not put it down! I literally stayed up til 3am to finish!!! It is that good . . . and then I got to the end and was not what I had expected! I know there is a book 2, and I hope it has the same main characters, but this ending was an HEA that just left so many unanswered questions and felt rushed for me! But would I read it again, ABSOLUTELY! Because I loved the back and forth, the sexual tension, the hilarious comments, and even the occasional need to smack someone (. . . Matt)!!!

"You're not alone anymore. Trey and I are your family now."

What would you do if you woke up with no memory of who you are, or who anyone else is? Well that is exactly how Abigail Adams, sexy supermodel, finds herself! She is told that she is engaged to her wealthy manager/agent and has a booming career, but she can't remember any of it. Only thing she can remember is a phone number and a man she keeps dreaming about. While in the hospital she has a strange feeling that things aren't right with her fiancé, Bill, so she hires a PI to check into her life and finances and also track the phone number she remembers.

The phone number leads her to Matthew Garcia's house. He is your typical college football player. . . sexy, built, and only into no strings attached sex! While sitting in his living room with him and his roommate Trey, she quickly realizes the memories she is having are his recently deceased sisters. Which of course confuses and freaks all 3 of them out, but they all realize that this bond is important and they will help Abi however they can.

"Matt's arms can always make me feel better, but Trey's words can always make me smile."

After finding her fiancé cheating on her (just as she expected), she leaves and moves into Matt and Trey's house. They take her in and she becomes their family! I loved how well they all got along and how the guys were so protective of Abi. Trying to make new friends and start a new life is always hard, but when she has no memory of who she was it makes it even harder because she is unsure who to trust and lean on. Matt shows her how running can relax her and ease her mind, and she soon loves it and secretly loves Matt pushing her (even though she would never admit it).

"Look, I don't know what's going on in that beautiful head of yours, but whatever it is, it brought you to me, which makes you mine now, and I always protect what's mine, Abigail."

The sexual chemistry and tension between Abi and Matt is OFF THE CHARTS! I am serious . . . their connection is deep and they both feel it, they are just afraid to take that leap past friends! I was screaming at these two to just do it already! But they kept getting interrupted or someone (*cough* Matthew) kept screwing up! But regardless he always was there for her and protected her, no matter what the cost! Will they ever be more? Will she get her memory back? Where did the memories of Matt come from? Can she truly move forward without knowing her past? So many questions. . .

"I swear, you guys dance around having sex like a pair of animals trying to decide if they've found the right mate."

Overall, I LOVED THIS BOOK! I couldn't put it down, I had to know where the story was taking me! The end is was kept me from giving it 5 stars. . . And yes I know series (so don't crucify me) but it just felt rushed and to many unanswered questions that I felt needed to have some closure to get to the HEA! I don't want to give too much away, but you must read this book! I can't wait for more and (fingers crossed) hope there is more Matt and Abi . . . and more Trey (love him) in the future!

3.5 stars

Unspoken Memories is quite different than any other book I have read lately. The story line is very unique and the book was well written but I didn’t connect with it the way I had hoped. When I first started I thought wow this is going to be a good one but half way in I lost interest. Don't let the 3.5 stars scare you away from this one it was really close to being a 4 star for me.

It starts when supermodel Abigail wakes up in the hospital after an accident. She has no memory of her past. The only thing she can remember is a phone number and a conversation she thinks she overheard. With that phone number she is determined to find the answers she is looking for. I really loved her in the beginning of the book, unlike so many females she was strong willed and not a push over. Even though her life is a mess and she has no clue who she is she doesn’t let it get her down. She trusts no one not even her fiancé and takes matters into her own hands to find the answer she seeks.

Her fiancé is a total prick. Abigail discovers that he is cheating on her and she is strong enough to stand up for herself and run away. With nowhere to go she runs to the only person she has memories of Matt Garcia. The problem is Matt doesn’t know her. The memories she has about the two of them don’t belong to her.

Matt is a college football player with problems of his own. He recently lost his sister and treats women poorly. When things didn’t work out with his first love he is determined to never get emotionally involved with another woman. He is a true player and has no intentions of ever changing. That is until Abigail walks into his life.

Matt and Abigail’s relationship wasn’t rushed and I would consider it well developed but I failed to connect with the chemistry between the two. I only felt the friendship. I did really enjoy the friendship they shared. The dialogue was well written and enjoyable. Although running and racing is an important part of their relationship, it I felt like it took over the story. I wanted to feel the chemistry rather than having it spelled out for me. I would have also liked a few more steamy scenes. Maybe it was just me I’m sure some other readers will feel different.

I really enjoyed the beginning of this book but the middle dragged on for me. I felt like the book had a lot of potential but I found myself putting it down towards the middle to read something else. I wanted more drama in the middle of the book. I wanted to know what happened to the fiancé. Eventually I found out but I thought it came across as a quick after thought. I wanted a little more information and drama with that part of the story since I connected with it so well in the beginning. It isn’t until the end of the book the drama picked back up. At that point though I had lost interest in the book and just wanted to see if Matt and Abigail got their hea.

Overall I’m glad I read the book. I did enjoy several parts of it and thought it was a book that others may enjoy more than me. For a debut novel it was very well written and I look forward to reading more from this author.
