Doubts have been cast over whether the Spice Girls 20th anniversary reunion tour will go ahead next year.

The tour had been planned with four of the five original members - Emma Bunton (39), Melanie Chisholm (41), Mel B (40), and Geri Horner (43).

Victoria Beckham (41), has not signed up as she's focused on her fashion career.

However, The Sun reports that Sport Spice Mel C  is refusing to sign up without Posh Spice Victoria, putting the whole tour in jeaopardy.

"This means good management, good tour promoters and good sponsorship to maximise revenue," a source told the paper.

"To fulfil this Mel believes the band has to be the original five-piece and Victoria needs to be involved."

The tour would kick off on the anniversary of the band's 1996 hit Wannabe which launched them into the stratosphere.

The band formed in 1994 and split in 2000, although they reunited in 207 for a Greatest Hits and performed together at the London Olympics.
