From all of us at Rapid Ascent we'd like to thank you for helping us make 2017 awesome.
Whether you raced, paced, or cheered from the sidelines, to our volunteers for all your hard work, and to our generous sponsors for supporting us. Everyone achieved some great results and we couldn't have done it without you.
2017 - our year in numbers:
- 9,824 total competitors in Rapid Ascent's own events
- 34,224 total competitors in all events Rapid Ascent delivered
- 44 event days across 18 different races
- 74 individual race starts
- 1,109kms of courses marked with arrows, tape and reflective tags
- 20,600kms traveled in the Rapid Ascent Landcruiser to / from events
- 1,400kg of Watermelons cut and and consumed
But all this effort was made worthwhile when we see people challenge themselves and achieve their goals upon crossing the finish line. WELL DONE to everyone.
