Volunteer Registration for Citizenship Workshop on 4.26.14
The New Americans Campaign project is holding a Citizenship Workshop on Saturday, April 26, 2014. The Citizenship Workshop will be at San Jose City College, Tech Building (corner of S. Bascom and Moorpark Ave.), 600 South Bascom Ave., San Jose, CA 95128 from 9 AM to 4 PM. During the workshop, we will assist lawful permanent residents with the naturalization process. We are recruiting community members, attorneys, paralegals, translators, law students, high school and college students to volunteer for the event.
To volunteer, please do the following: (1) Sign up by registering below; and (2) Attend one of four volunteer trainings at the ALA office, 991 W. Hedding Street, Suite 202, San Jose, CA 95126. Please attend ONE volunteer training session either on April 7 at 6 PM, April 14 at 6 PM, April 19 at 10 AM, or April 22 at 6 PM.
