Description
"The legends surrounding El Dorado changed over time, as it went from being a man, to a city, to a kingdom, and then finally an empire." "El Dorado" was once known for a legend of a city made of gold. Many western explorers from Europe sought after it. Colombian tribal chieftains also once covered their bodies in gold dust before diving into a body of water as tribute to the gods. The historic Colombian people also threw precious jewels into the water.
