Is this the world's worst bridezilla? The Hollywood fitness guru demanding guests do a three-week vegan cleanse before her big day

Bridezilla: Hollywood fitness expert Rainbeau Mars is asking all her wedding guests to embark on a three-week vegan cleanse

Rainbeau Mars, a Hollywood health expert famous for her yoga DVDs, is asking her wedding guests to do a three-week cleanse in the lead up to her big day.

The bride-to-be's publicist said she wants her guests 'to look and feel their best' at her wedding to Hollywood business manager Michael Karlin by following a vegan live-food diet, according to the Huffington Post.

And guests can keep up their healthy lifestyle once they arrive at the three-day event on Kauai, Hawaii, which will include 'unique activities' like breath work classes, yoga and horseback riding.

The 21-day cleanse is called the Fresh Start cleanse, and is a special diet designed by Ms Mars and promoted on her website.

Her site claims the strict diet is so effective that it can strengthen your immune system, prevent disease, release stress and beautify your hair.

Celebrities on the mother-of-one's wedding guest list apparently include Melissa and Joan Rivers and Josie Maran.

Many have expressed their shock that a bride would dictate what her own wedding guests can and cannot eat.

'So wrong in many ways,' wrote one skeptic on Twitter.

Others, however, were quick to jump to the health guru's defense.

Supporters said that guests should be thankful to be given the opportunity to try out a healthier lifestyle.

For her part, the fitness guru has taken to Facebook to insist that people have the wrong impression about the pre-wedding cleanse.

'We were intending to include everyone with an invitation to what is supposed to be a healing and purifying ceremony for all,' she explained.

'Some guests are joining us along with the other people that do this with us around the world and others are not.'
