MANU PILLAI
MANU PILLAI (UK): Born in August 1995, Manu is an Architecture student currently studying in Oxford. Claiming not to specialize in any particular field of art he continues to search for a style he can outright claim as his own, while developing his art skills. He cites current influences as artists like: Oscar Murillo, Liza Lacroix and Francesca Woodman. Heavily influenced by fashion he also draws inspiration from designers such as: Rei Kawakubo, Yohji Yamamoto and Matthew Miller. His creative process tends to be experimental and centers around the idea of learning new methods by trial and error, as well as the organic creation of a signature.
