Constrain curve to be vertical

The vertical constraint causes lines, ellipse axes, or pairs of points to lie parallel to the Y axis of the coordinate system.

  1. On the ribbon, click Sketch tab Constrain panel Vertical Constraint .
  2. Click a line, an ellipse axis, or two points.
  3. Continue to place vertical constraints, or do one of the following to quit:
    • Right-click, and select Done.
    • Press Esc.
    • Select another command.
