It's a boy! Independence Day: Resurgence actor Jeff Goldblum and his wife, Emilie Livingston, are the proud parents of a son named Charlie, the actor announced on his official Facebook page.
"We're so excited to share the wonderful news of the birth of our son, Charlie Ocean Goldblum, born on the 4th of July. Independence Day," the proud new dad shared on Tuesday, July 7.
Married since November 2014, Goldblum, 62, and Livingston, 32, confirmed their pregnancy during an appearance on the Late Show With David Letterman. "She told me the day before we got married that she's pregnant,” Goldblum told the now-retired Letterman.

Livingston, who appeared on the Kroll Show in 2014, kept fans updated about her pregnancy via social media right up until her son's birth. "Bursting! It's so hot out and the pain is real but I'm keeping my focus and patiently waiting," the actress Instagrammed on Wednesday, June 24, along with a photo of her baby bump. She also posted photos of the many healthy meals she cooked in advance of having her hands full, and entertained suggestions from Twitter followers for books to read as a first-time mom.
"Loving the journey to motherhood! Seeing my body change to accommodate and grow our little boy is too sweet for words," Livingston blogged. "I've had the best pregnancy I could have ever asked for and now I'm ready to meet our little boy."
