Here, my first serious review on a not well known fiction. God, I'm an idiot...

You do not score something because of what it is.
You score it based on how well it manages how it is.

You do not say "The diamond ring is bad because it's diamond"
You say "The diamond ring is bad because the craftsman that used the diamond couldn't polish it, cut it cleanly or used it in the wrong place"

What did the people that gave it 0.5 stars think I wonder? "OoOoh a NTR in Dah tagsss I moust giff bad scoooreeee!"

Style isn't what you would call perfect, but it's far from bad. Why I gave 3.5 stars is because while the story is interesting and good, style is what keeps the reader reading and affects how the story is told. Okay, I admit the story has what it needs and is enough to make this fiction good, but that actually has little to do with the style. A story about a turd can be good with a style epic enough, while a story about gods with bad style can make it shit.
Overall, its good. But can be better.

As for scoring the story, nothing much to say besides what I gave it in stars. It's unique, it's pretty weird, but good nevertheless. Story doesn't have a point but that's the catch, but still it could have been better, as in adding some more backstory (or at least a little bit, as far as I read there is only a few things we know about the past). Though probably the author doesn't want to build a world with details or characters with pasts to relate, so the events occurring seems pretty sufficient.

With the brain of me at 4 AM in the morning, my grammar detector isn't working well and I need 2 more coffees on top of the 2 I had in the last hour or there is no mistakes to be found. Bloody Hell, how long has it been since I read a story in Royal Road and didn't cringe because of the "Your" and "You're" mistakes... I can't believe I'm saying this, but THANK YOU, thank you for AT LEAST KNOWING THE BASICS. To y'all that doesn't even know basic English and still has the courage to post it like bringing a 3 month old fetus to the face of Earth: Get a proofreader or take a look at your own work before posting dammit. Or put a "I suck at English, please don't mind it" warning, so that we walk into the minefield knowing that. Being bad at English or grammar in general isn't a sin, being negligent and uncaring about it is.

I will edit about characters later because I'm taking a break the "Escape?" chapter and I need to sleep for fucks sake. Not enough shit to judge about it at the moment.

Note to author: Keep it up, this place needs more people like you that try something unique. Even if it doesn't go well with the majority.

A Dark Story(pun intended)

This is one of my favorite fictions on rrl, sure it might be dark and contains rape but I've never been averse to such things in a story unless of course the MC is doing the raping (literally, figurative rape is fine).I like where the story is going and as for the characters, dark is awesome, and elissa is a lovable fool (I call her a fool because she still clings to honor after all that). So all in all it's a pretty unique story which in my opinion isn't a bad thing or rather on this site that's pretty amazing in and of itself.

P.S

The story isn't even all that dark (if you ignore the fact that it's written by darkbringer and includes a character of the same name) as of yet, trust me I've seen worse much, much worse.

Really dark (obviously) but good

This story, while not my favorite that Darkbringer wrote, is well written and full of all that complexity and stuff needed to make a book good.

Sure there is rape, and the girl is going to be really messed up by her situation for the rest of her life, if she even survives, not to mention how  messed up the guy is, but that doesn't make the story bad, it makes it appeal to certain people while bothering others.

( I think that the review talking about NTR might have just explained themselves poorly. They said that they always give NTR and Rape .5 stars. They shouldn't have phrased it the way that did, but their reasoning is sound, this story does have rape, which is one of their criteria for a poor rating. Instead of being upset about them mentioning NTR, what should bother people is that they gave a .5 star rating to a story that warns about rape in the description. The people who read this story, expect there to be rape, so rating it poorly due to this is ridiculous. It would be like giving every dungeon story a .5 star rating because you don't like dungeons. The fact that you don't like something doesn't affect its quality.)

Ntr always gets this rating from me same with rape and other stuff like it regardless of how good a story it may or may not be.

Be warned, this is not for the squeamish.

I like the story, in a technical way it is quite well written.

That being said the current plotline features rape and what can only be called slavery on the premise that the mc's whole nation will die if she doesn't put op with it.

There are a few logic faults I can find, yet they might have arisen from a lack of knowledge of the universe for my part.

So as the title of this review suggest, this is very much not a story for the faint of heart. To be honest I kinda fear for the mental health of the author if this is the stuff that plagues the authors dreams at night.

To the dumbasses that don't know the meaning of NTR

How the hell is this story NTR? Do you even know what the hell NTR stands for? its Netorare, go google it up for the definition. I don't see any of that so far in the story. Just a really really dark story and a girl obeying what she's been told to do, as for the actual content, you'll have to read the story to know about it. So far so good with the story, it started off a bit slow, but its slowly building up into something unfathomable at the moment. Keep up the good work.

i wouldnt call it bad but i wouldnt call it over the top either started to read this figuring it was a young lady knight that would get slowly corrupted into a dark knight type of deal cuz of something happen didnt exactly expact this type of crap anyway if you like a lady sacrificing herself to save her people from a doushebag rapist darkness thing youll enjoy this personally i give this a thumbs down!
