Regarding Hamlet Defense

Good evening,
ハムレット防衛中に、戦士または斧術士のアクション「挑 発」でギャザラーの妨害効果「攻撃力ダウン」が上書きされるのは仕様になります。ただ、挑発で妨害効果が上書きされた後、「攻撃力ダウン」の妨害効果がか からなくなる場合がある件については、開発チームでも不具合であることを確認しており、調査を進めています。今回のパッチ1.22c HotFixesで、
・「戦士が挑発を行なったらギャザの攻撃力ダウンのバフが上書きされる」
・「それ以降ずっとそのままになってる」
っていうバグが直るかと思っていたのですが修正内容にその項目が有りません。
これは開発としては仕様として認めていると思っていいのですね?
In Patch 1.22c HotFixes was hoping the following bugs would be fixed but didn't see it in the repair details, does that mean it's OK to think this is how it's set up through devs?
- When Warrior uses Provoke gatherers damage down buff gets overwritten
- After that it remains that way
During hamlet defense when Warrior or Marauder's action "Provoke" is used it is made to overwrite gatherers effect for "Attack down". However the situation later where you can't overwrite that with "Attack down" is a bug the development team also noticed and is currently being investigated.
Response from Triairy to thread asking for a message board where players can leave messages for others to see which LS is recruiting, community events happening, ppl looking for friends, etc...
The message board they talking in here are like open message board which anyone can see and the Free Company one Triairy is talking about is probably something close to FFXI's linkshell message kind of feature (guessing) - would be nice if you can leave more text unlike limited FFXI's linkshell message lol, or at least have in game browser linked to Lodestone's LS message board by clicking a link or something would be nice use of that forum mostly no one uses...lolこんばんは。

インゲームでの掲示板機能については、新生においても実装する予定はありません。
We do not have any plans even in 2.0 for a in game message board feature.
新生ではレターが送れるようになったり、フリーカンパニー専用の一言ボードのようなものは検討していますが、掲示板となると管理・運用コストがとても高くなってしまうためです。
In 2.0 you will be able to send letters and for Free Company we are looking into a short note board but when it becomes a message board the cost of maintenance to observe and operate will be very high.
メンバー募集や、コミュニティイベントなどについてはフォーラムをご利用いただければと思います。
For member recruit or community events would appreciate if you could use the forums.
yeah i really wish there was in game browser of sorts, especially for the lodestone lore entries. those just seem like they belong in game. I feel like they often get ignored :|

They'd get ignored in-game too lol. This is why I miss the POL viewer, since once you load it up you could literally go straight to Vana'diel tribune and read them if you wanted, that was technically 'in-game'.

The PS3 version uses an all new interface called "Cross Hot Bar" (in Japanese, "クロスホットバー" -- if you have a better Romanization suggestion, do suggest it). We don't have specifics just yet.
Famitsu seems to have a full staff Q&A for FFXIV this week, so we may get additional details later.

About the free company message boards they would be better off designing an in game events calender.
Pretty disappointing if they don't have something like this in game at some point, as a LS leader its a pain in the ass to get people to visit a website on a regular basis.

Regarding Job AF quest
People asked why devs put AF in AV where you have to have DH cleared and there are ones in DH and CC where you can just go and get.
Mocchi didn't even answer the players questions really... so people on the thread what does that have anything to do with why people have to go to AV when for job quest storyline it has nothing to do with it at all.こんにちは。

確かに何か理由があるのだろうかと気になっていた部分でしたので改めて調べてみたところ……オーラムに入るためにゼーメルをクリアしないといけませんが、
もう仕様ミスレベル、ジョブクエのストーリーとぜんっぜん関係ないですし。
To get into AV you have to have DH cleared but I think this is developers miss, it has nothing to do with job quests story.
オーラムヴェイルは、「世界設定上、ゼーメル要塞の先に位置するレイドダンジョン」として設計されていました。
I also thought there was a reason behind this and was wondering so I checked again and....
AV was structured in the world as raid dungeon that comes after DH
このような背景に基づき、帝国兵の存在が感じられるような魔導トランスポーターや、バリアが両レイドダンジョンに配置されており、上位のレイドダンジョンであるオーラムヴェイルに入るための条件にクエスト「ゼーメル要塞」の達成が設けられているようです。
And based on that background both raid dungeons has transporters which gives a feeling of imperials being there, so it was setup as a higher raid dungeon AV you must clear the quest DH.
ま た、各レイドダンジョンへ入るには最低4人でPTを組む必要があるため、LSに所属していない場合などは、AF装備を集めるのが容易ではないという意見が 少なからずありますが、新生版で導入予定のコンテンツファインダー(=自動マッチング機能)を利用することで解消されると見込んでいますので、それまでは 皆さんで助け合っていただければ幸いです。
Also to get into each raid dungeon you will need at least 4 member PT so for those without LS I see there are comments that it's hard to obtain the AF's, by using 2.0's content finder (=auto matching system) will resolve this, until then would appreciate if everyone can help each other out.
I also posted on there about the content finder issue here if devs think it can solve these issue... I can translate my own post if ppl want to know lol.

I don't think Mocchi or the devs understanding the players issue with AV... I also noted that in my post that they should of just kept it as DH and CC or for those AF's in AV to have it where if player has progressed through the quest up till that part where you need to go to AV to be able to go in even without DH clear but make it where they can get the AF but the they wont be able to get the AV clear flag or the items from chests. (at least they can get the AF they are mainly going for)こんにちは。

「AF装備はエンドコンテンツに挑戦しているプレイヤーに入手してもらいたい」との想いから、AF装備を入手するための条件に一律レイドダンジョンへの挑戦を入れています。問題なのは、なぜ(他のレイドクリアが前提となる)オーラムに箱を置いたか、なんです。
AFクエにおいて、箱がレイドにあることに必然が感じられない、というのが上記の『仕様ミス』発言の趣旨のはずです。
その点を踏まえて、もう一度回答をお願いしたいところです。
The problem is WHY you put the box inside AV (Which required another raid to be cleared previously)
With AF quest can't feel the necessity of having the box in the raid dungeon and that is the part we mentioned as a "miss" knowing this want to hear response.
For AF gear we want the players who is challenging in end content to get for that reason we added the challenge to raid dungeons.
もし仮に、ジョブ専用装備が誰でも簡単に入手できてしまうのであれば、AFの価値は薄れますし、ゲームバランスも崩れてしまいますので、現状の設定(レイドダンジョンにAFが入った箱が設置されていること)は、妥当という判断をしています。
If for example if you can obtain the Job Specific gear by anyone easily the value of the AF will decrease and would also break the game balance so we believe the current setting of having the AF box placed inside the raid dungeon is adequate

Why is that even an issue? To get to the AF in DH, you practically have to clear the DH quest anyway (it's one room further). Once you've done that, the AV AF takes barely any effort to get at all. Thus, getting DH AF vs getting AV AF is almost the same amount of effort.
It's not like you have to defeat Batraal or anything...
I'm surprised the reps even bothered responding to that.
