Taylor Swift’s 1989 World Tour has officially begun. Everybody has been dealing with this news in their own way, some better than others. If there’s a best response, though, it’s that of Vance Joy, who uploaded a cover of “I Know Places” via YouTube on Tuesday. Swift soon gave this song an incredibly high stamp of approval, tweeting, “There have been so many amazing covers of 1989 songs… I’m going to be bold enough to say this one is my favorite.” Bold! Well, actually one would hope for this reaction, considering Joy will open summer shows on the 1989 World Tour. Regardless, it’s a stellar cover, so enjoy and then give it your own stamp.
