As I was shifitng to new location, I just came across "Bhagavadgeetha As It Is by A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada" a classic of world literature, in my collection of books.
I had skimmed through it long back.I still remember the line that has the spirit/essence of the whole book for me.
"You have a right to perform your prescribed action,but you are not entitled to the fruits of your action.
Never consider yourself the cause of the results your activities,and never be associated to not doing your duty."
(Translated from Sanskrit:-"Karmanye Vadhikaraste Ma Phaleshu Kadachana,
Ma Karma Phala Hetur Bhurmatey Sangostva Akarmani")
How simple and how relevant even today.I think if Bhagavadgeetha is universally renowned as the jewel of India's spiritual wisdom , its because of Karma Yoga.You rarely find spiritual books/Gurus laying emphasis on doing your work.
Thats exactly what Krishna says here.Always do your best without expecting the results and you will be happy.

This shloka (is usually mis-interpreted). It actually says that you have right only to action but no control over the result of your action.
If the arrow leaves your bow (action) It may or may not hit the target. You have NO CONTROL over the result (hitting) i.e. where the arrow hits.

It is good that Krishna is also a part of your name. But then you must also know the true meaning of the verse that you are referring to. Alternatively you can refer many and ask many other masters. But one should not stop and hold on to wrong meanings. One should not consider the milestone as our goal. Then our journey stops there only. Keep moving.

What I have understood that it is impossible to seperate action from its action. Every action has got fixed result that no body who so ever it may be can seperate. Just imagine if one action has two or more results than what will happen. Is there any body who can remove my confusion.

The great words of the Lord are not always correctly interpreted. The Lord does not say "You are not entitled to the fruits of your action". He uses the verb "Ma" and not "Na". "Ma" in Sanskrit is used for "don't". Therefore the real meaning could be "even though there is the fruit, you don't go after it". This implies, whatever you deserve will anyway come to you and don't waste your time by going after it.
