MTBR: what the hell is rep power
Can someone explain what this stupid system is?
I made fun of someone for using the term "chunk" for rocky tech terrain. I said it was a gay term and reminded me of a candy bar. I lost 8 points? Whoever seeks out "chunk" is retarded. It's rocks.

I posted a picture of my intense tracer 2 on the confluence in Auburn and someone gave me negative points for it not being a rigid single speed.
What the hell is wrong with these people. Are you not allowed to poke fun at people on that site? And what the hell is rep power?

Weak set up. No adjustable seatpost and timid front fork for smooth singletrack.

It's kind of like a gay as hell popularity contest. I don't pay attention to the rep points, it doesn't really mean anything, it's probably just a way to have the community police themselves instead of the mod needing to become involved in everything.
It's a lot more uptight than tgr.

In the economy of the future, reputation will replace cash as the medium of exchange and assholes will be the new paupers. It's actually kind of the opposite of today's teevee economy where the sociopathic narcissist always comes out on top.

Can't you just give them negative rep points in return for being a douchebag?
We heard you in our twilight caves, one hundred fathom deep below, for notes of joy can pierce the waves, that drown each sound of war and woe.

Rep points are like a circle jerk, you have to yank on everyone else if you expect any tugging yourself.
And "gay term"? What are you twelve?
