I'm 5' 9" at 155 ponds and the large fit is good. I can wear it alone of add a fleece underneath for extra warmth. It also has a hood with elastic around the face but no adjustments. It is breathable and is supposed to be water resistant. As with any breathable product, if you are just walking, moisture does not build up inside. However, there will be some dampness if worn for heavy activity, such as mountain biking. This is the same for all breathable products. The jacket is very light weight and can be packed into one of it's 2 pockets, although, the pockets are not necessary made for this. The yellow color will make you stand out on a bike, but is not overly bright. Just a very nice color.
