I'm surprised the reps even bothered responding to that.

On JP side they want to be able to do everything solo still since some still sticking by old dev teams comment they made that the game can played solo... which I can understand to some point but YoshiP already said that's not true anymore after he took over... so dunno why they keep on bringing that up.

But some did have a point saying for new players starting fresh their first goal is to get lv50 class then get the job for that class since you have to have jobs in most party setups now and if you chose a job that requires AV then you have to go through DH as well + saying they can't find anyone that can help with already finished/outdated content.

Reason why Mocchi replied first with the content finder thing... which imo isn't right since outdated content is outdated and even if you put up request in content finder doubt there will be people doing it so you still end up asking friends or w/e to help or if you got no friends... then probably wont finish at all... UNLESS you join a regular DH clear run through content finder and once the party progress through the dungeon till where you can go grab the AF on your own you can get and D/C or whatever to leave the party which would just make the group doing the actual DH run in a bad situation with 1 person short, so they need to implement some features on content finder to avoid this type of situation and listed my ideas.

Actually, the complaint is that, if the AF you want is in Aurum Vale, you NEED to have completed far enough Darkhold to get another AF anyway.

So a first-time player, like it was my case actually, you have to do two AFs worth of work, because, for example my case, the Dragoon dungeon piece is in Aurum Vale, and the effort nescessary to open up Aurum Vale is the same effort nescessary to get, say, the White Mage piece in Darkhold.

So in case I had both my WHM and DRG quests lined up, i'd need to first get my White Mage AF and THEN get my Dragoon AF. Whereas the AFs that aren't in Aurum Vale do not have the 'virtual' pre-requisite of having a completely unrelated piece acquired.

For people just joining the game after pretty much everyone currently playing progressed passed DH, it's not that easy getting people to do it because people rather spam CC for example. That's the only true issue with it. How likely are you to see someone jump at the first chance to help a newbie shouting for DH access, especially with a community that generally seems to be 'push off' of taking new people to content?

In theory it makes sense why you need DH cleared (its old as sin content), but in execution, it just hurts new players.

新生版がサービスインする際には、よく使用するマクロのテンプレを用意し、全てのマクロが揃った時点でユーザーマクロ作成支援機能を導入すべく準備を進めています。

When 2.0 service starts we ware preparing macro templates for the ones commonly used, and once all the macro's are ready we will implement a support feature for user macro creation.

<_< You should respond to that post and say "We'll forgive you if you actually post information on the teaser site" XD.

That's only thing that really bothers me about it, they did say they would post a flood of information but what's shown atm just looks like the original plan in which they are posting information as if they had shown the trailer at E3.

Yes yes pictures are pretty but can we see some words XD. The macro info does sounds good though, I do hope it implies that perhaps we won't have to type in "equip x yada yada blah blah blah" and instead we can click on the text and have the option to "copy as an equip macro" which would be awesome XD.

Re: The Darkhold requirement for AV... remember that all the original dungeons are supposed to be revamped or something come 2.0 so there might be new incentive to do it/help out people if you've done it already.

I can understand why people would not like doing Darkhold before AV but seriously... AV AF is so easy to get and takes like 3 minutes I say it evens out.
